How can you tell if your girl dog is pregnant?
my dog is about 8 months old. she has gone off her food (been 3 days now) and when she does eats ANYTHING, even just a nibble, she vomits it back up. Is she pregnant or does this sound like some other underlying problem that I should be worried about?

It sounds unlikely that ur dog is pregnant. Unless she has got away from you and been with an un-neutered male dog i would think that there is another reason for this problem. It sounds quite serious to be honest and you should take her to a vet as soon as possible to get her check out. She could possibly have eaten something that has become stuck in her gut and causes a blockage so any food is unable to go down hence the vomiting when eaten or she could have a stomach upset but which ever she needs veterinary care as she hasnt really eaten for three days.
take her to the vet she's to young to be pregnant. it only takes a dog 63 days to deliver...
if she does then her tummy wil be bigger, dont worry too much.
check her nipples, if they get larger then she might be or she might have a fake pregance
Has she been left alone with a male dog? Has she had a season yet? She maybe is coming into season. But she maybe has picked up a bug. Puppies will chew anything and she needs to see a vet, specially if she can't even hold water down.
This is NOT a symptom of pregnancy - please take your dog to the vet as soon as possible to see what is causing the vomiting and get treatment - don't delay!
She needs to see a vet right away. It's possible that she's pregnant, but it's also possible that she's very ill. Even if (or maybe ESPECIALY if) she is pregnant she can't afford to go days on end with no nourishment
Has the dog already gone into heat? Was it recently? Vomiting isn't necessarily a sign of pregnancy in a dog. The only way to know for sure is to take her to the vet and have an x-ray done. Honestly, 8 months is too young for a puppy to have puppies, so you should really take her to the vet. Little eating and vomiting could be a serious problem. Parvo starts out that way, and parvo can kill your dog quickly without proper treatment. Is the dog still playful, or lethargic? Please call a vet today! God Luck:)
Hi i ve just been thru this myself.simply if she pregnant you'll find out within 2 months. when her belly swells and drops and u have pups.. dont go to a vet if you think she is pregnant they will rip you off.£20 for them to say she needs a scan. which is about £52.wait to c if she has pups. then youll need the money for the vet .give her a cooked chicken breast is she eats it she may just be of her food. dogs get sick like us.
She is probably sick. She may have swallowed something and if so this is serious.
ask vet
It is very unlikely that your young dog is pregnant. Puppies tend to eat strange things and the symptoms seem to point to that fact. You should take her to your own vet to ensure she hasn't done so.
omg that happend to my dog see a vet quick it could be somthing to do with her organs
