Are Persian cats the most friendly cats?

Mine our!!

Answers:
I've owned my persian for twelve years, since she was a six week old baby, and she is the sweetest little thing! She is a pain in the backside to groom and keep clean and I wouldn't get another for this reason, but she is the sweetest cutest little thing in the world! Very loving, very modest cats with cute little ears and curly whiskers. They are sweet and never overly vocal though they will talk to you!
Other than the grooming issue, they're just perfect little things.
sometimes, haven't you seen "over the hedge"
i dont know i never been near one
hell no!
no get rid of them quick
I have 2, one is very nervous of strangers the other is, well a pussycat. But they both want attention all the time
cats are like people, some are nice some are grumpy. As a breed I would say that mixes are generally better tempered. Depends alot on how you treat it and it's environment.
what is mine our?all cats are friendly to a point. the best are not the pure blooded type. just like dogs the ones that you can get from your local animal shelter make better pets.they seem to know that the pound is a terrible place and dont want to go back so they are better pets
not necessarily..depends on the temperament of their parents and the care of the owners.among other things.
no try a ragdoll their well laid back an deffo the best lovin cats
Not since the Ayatollah Khomeni took over in 1979, no.
Friendly, friendly in a world famous actor/ress kind of way (think Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton) . I have male persian cat and he thinks that he owns the world. He is snobbish and sometimes cold. But he does not scratch, bite or growl. he is scared of birds, proberbly thinks its beneath him, but with kids persians are great cats to have because they love attention and donot attack. Atleast mines dont. Theyre choosy about who they mix with though.
I worked as a vet tech. for 6 years. I've have angel persians & I've had hand peircing persians. There is no breed that is sweeter than others. They all have good and evil.
My friend has a ginger persian cat called Jade and she is very friendly and talkative!
The only one I've come into contact with virtually ripped my hand to shreds. Mind you, it's owner was pretty loopy, so it could be that the cat reflects the owner's personality. You are obviously very friendly, so your cats are used to lots of visitors and behave themselves!
did you ever heard they are?
I have a persian cat and he is the friendliest, sweetest little cat. He loves attention and being groomed or stroked and "talks" quite a lot, although persians in general are not suppposed to be very vocal.
He is also very laid back and not concerned when people come round to my house as for him it is more people to fuss over him.
Although he needs grooming every day or so, it is not difficult to do, and he never scratches or bites.
I think friendly cats are created by the owners. A kitten becomes friendly (or not) after contact with it's owner when it is still very young. What happens the first few weeks will determine what the kitten's personality is like and how friendly it is.
My folks had a persian named Sabrina (named after Sabrina the witch) and she wasn't a very nice kitty at all to anyone. She bit, scratched, growled and hiss all the time. Anhow, she lived to be an ornery healthy 19 years with our family. We loved her despite her feisty-like behavior. Oh well.no one breed is always friendlier than another. All cats breeds can have both sweet and evil temperaments.

HOWEVER, you are very lucky to have some friendly persians.
I have family that have had persian cats for years . i found these cats are really friendly cats i do like these cat .
not necessarily it doesn't matter what breed it is it depends on how you raise it and treat it. you must have treated it with respect but some people don't and that's why there cats are ferocious. im glad your one of the nice people who own a cat!!!!!!!!!!!
Every cat is different. But I don't think the Persian are the most friendly cats.It depends of the animal. It can be friendly or it can be restless. My cousin has a Persian cat and it is so nice!
Not when you brush their matted fur.I have a cat which I trapped as a feral kitten and it's the friendliest cat I have ever had and I have had a few over the years.Three at the moment.
I have a persian and I adore her. She has more personality than any other cat I've had (for 30 years!). She's very loving and affectionate and wants attention all the time. Even now she's getting on a bit she still likes to play all the time and always initiates chasing games with my other cat. Bless her little fluffy paws!
I don't think so, but they ARE beautiful. Many of the books I've read indicate that the Siamese and Abysinian breeds are the friendliest, but they do tend to be loyal to their household more than to strangers. Our Siameses over the years have been adoring creatures. Very partial to the breed.
well, i donno my sis has 1 and it not very nice
i mean i grew up with torties and they are lovely they are real kind and gentle and real comedians
But as for Persians id have to say no
