How do i stop my puppy from peeing on the floor?

It makes me so mad that people still believe that rubbing a puppies nose in its own urine will help to house train them! The correct way to house train is to take the pup out as often as possible. As soon as they wake and during playtime you should take them out straight away,as soon as they start to do their business praise them. They will soon get to know whats expected of them, but you will also get the odd accident so please do not rub the pups nose in it just firmly say NO and take him/her outside.Good luck.
Talk to someone who is familiar with housebreaking dogs, or talk to your vet.
Does the puppy pee when it gets excited? Then when you come home ignore it for a bit then take it outside to go potty. If it is younger than 14 weeks then it can't hold its bladder for more than a couple of hours. You need to take it out to potty every couple of hours. And after it eats and when it first wakes up. Good luck.
rub his nose in it, then take him outside, and be sure to praise him bigtime when he goes outside
place papers on ground, then train her by placing her regularly on them. if she goes else where put her nose in it and place her on paper. she will eventually get it right. then give lots of praise.
You must catch him in the act, say "no" firmly, and take him outside to finish. DON'T come back inside until he has done something. As soon as he does, praise him/her like crazy. Bring him/her back inside. They will begin to associate the negative and the positive reinforcements. Try to bring them out as often as possible. Every time they do something praise them. Puppies should be brought out every few hours. Good luck! (Also, if he is a male get him neutered as soon as you can, this will help prevent "marking" behaviors.)
u nid to train it, u cud hav a pro to do it if u dun hav the time to.
buy him puppy pads
You have to just keep on him. Puppy's bladders are very small. Kinda like a baby human. I would take the puppy outside about every half hour.out the same door all the time. He'll then recognize this is the door I go out. After a couple days of this you should see results. Just remember when he goes outside make a big deal of it. It might seem funny to you to clap and give him tons of praise but it means a lot to him/her. And a treat never hurts. If he/she goes in the house scolding is the best way to deter them. Rubbing out the stain while you scold them really makes them not want to do that again. At least no time soon. Praise is best when they go outside.
use puppy -pads, never hit that puppy with news paper just use a firm voice only one word and his name like "saba" NO firm no screamming i,ve trained over a hundred dogs puppy pads are great if it poops put it on the puppy pad or news paper if you want to take it out side it don,t know what your doing get it sraight with the puppy its the peeing in the house rub his nose in it say no put on puppy pad they have puppy pee in them and the dog will learn quickly
You should walk is more often it and only during certain time!
iT WILL TAKE A WHILE AND YOU NEED TO BE PATIENT.
Put newspaper down on the floor - restrict your puppy to one room with a hard floor covering you can clean. Dogs don't like to be splashed so will be happier to pee on paper. Then start only covering the floor with paper on part of it and if you catch him peeing put him (whilst he is doing it) on the paper - say good boy a lot and really praise him. After doing this for a while (depends on how many times you can catch him and praise him - he will only go on the paper. YOU can then move the paper outside. He will still do it indoors while he is little on the paper. When you take him out when he has had his jabs he will naturally pee outside - you may have to take him out more regularly at first. I have trained my dogs - and even my cats to pee on demand (be reasonable they can't do one it they have none to do! - by saying the same phrase when they are doing a pee I say 'time for a pee - hurry up' then all four cats will start digging - the dogs used to go for a sniff and then start peeing. persevere - it does work but not overnight.
When he has a pee rub his nose in it he will eventually stop.
The best way to house train is by using a crate. Dogs don't like to sleep in their own mess and a crate helps teach them to hold their bladder. However a puppy only has a very small bladder so he must be let out frequently. After every nap and every meal and about once every 45 minutes. If he goes in the house DO NOT rub his face in it. Just clean the patch with a solution of biological washing powder, this is because he is more likely to pee in the same spot as he's peed before if he can smell it. If you catch him in the act then give a firm NO take him outside and when he does it right then praise him. You can also teach him to go on command by saying your command eg. "be clean" or "do your business" at the exact point where he starts to go. He'll soon associate the word with peeing. Remember to praise him everytime he does it right.
Those are just a few pointers to start with but I'd recommend getting a book on crate training. Good luck.
first put some news paper in the toilet.on the floor.and then tell your dog in one world like''HEAR'' or ''PEE HEAR''.
and keep telling her for 3,4 days and then if she pee on the floor, punish her with something else not with your hand.
and then take the newspeper with the pee on it,outside of the house, and show her and use same word that i told you.
if she continue to peeing ,then you should take your dog outside of the house for 3,4 times in a day.
If your puppy keeps going in the same place, i used Eucalyptus oil, they don't like the smell of it and it also takes away the smell of the wee, only a very tiny drop though. But as it is only a puppy alot of patience is required as its all new to him.
hyouse train it and tell iot if it wants to pee tel;l; it to pee out doors or get a cat litter and tell it to wee in that one
teach them to go on paper, when they look like they are about to pee, pick them up and place on paper, they will go on paper by themselves quite quickly, gradually move paper close to back door then when they go to pee pick them up and place them outside and stay with them until they go, they will learn to go outside, but its not a speedy process. Also, try puppy training mats.
Each time your puppy goes to the door is a sign that its pee time, put it outside and see if he /she does anything, if yes, give a small treat for what its done, i kept doing this with my puppy, and he was trained in a week. Give it a go, the puppy will stop weeing on the carpet as it will go to the door to tell you pee-time, and then treat time, good luck.
you should put out some newspaper and start teaching him to go on the newspaper. And if he goes some where else then the newspaper tell he/she that. NO THAT IS A NO NO.K
put newspaper down on the floor and everytime its about to have a wee pick them up and put it down on the newspaper. you have to train it while its a puppy or when it grows to be a dog you will not do as you say.
