If you have grown up with dogs or have a dog, have you ever noticed yourself sniffing food before you eat it?

I grew up with dogs and have had dogs all my life I have 3 pups now and I sometimes sniff food before I eat it just because it smells so good but I do sniff food before I cook it especially meat.

We give our dog dry food and I have to say that sometimes it smells lovely when you pour it out of the bag, we do very occasionally give our dog a treat of those large size Cesar type of dog foods and for some reason I always smell it, guess its because I am fussy about what we give to our dog to eat and if it smelt minging there is no way I would let her eat it.
