What was your best Steve Irwin moment and why?
Answers:
When his faithful dog Sui died, I cried right along with him as though she was my dog. That show was a real heart breaker. The show when baby Bob was born also brought tears to my eyes because I could just feel his love and his joy at the birth of his new son.
When someone comes into your living room everyday, you empathize with them and feel like their pain and their joy is your own.
My daughter (A Zoology major in college) often said that Steven Irwin is the type of man she would like to marry..one who shares her love and respect for animals.
when that little green snake bit his nose, and he tried not to cuss it.
I CANT NAME ANY ONE PARTICULAR PROGRAMME I ALWAYS ENJOYED THE SHOW FROM START TO FINISH. I GUESS HE JUST TOOK TOO MANY RISKS ITS A SHAME THAT 2 CHILDREN WILL GROW UP WITHOUT A GREAT DAD BUT HIS TV SHOWS WILL BE HIS LEGACY TO THEM AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO WATCH HIM WHEN THEIR OLDER.
I just loved watching anytime he was with his family. This makes me remember when his dog died. the only thing i didn't like was when he brought his baby up to a croc, but he was a great man.
my favourite moment was when he was in the jungle with some orangatangs.. i could see the love in his face and eyes as he spoke to us about these creatures. also his tour of antarticia with the whales.
truly an inspiration to us all, RIP steve irwin.
Steve was a huge campaigner for animal rights but I think I liked the fact that he was a wonderful family man. He loved his wife and kids so much and they loved him. He will be sadly missed.
I think it was when he was dealing with his dog being sick. He was a nervous wreck and you could see that beyond all the flash and bravado he was a real person. I aometimes got irritated with the way he would seem to harrass the animals just to show us thier reactions but that show made me see that he really was just a guy like my brother or my husband. Just a man doing with a job that he loved and a family that meant everything to him.
when he was getting a croc out of the water and it hit his finger and dislocated and he said its not broken then he cliked it then it was that was funny.
r.i.p
steve.
Steve is NOT dead and my fave moment is when he gets snakebit on nose.
i did`ent have a favorite moment i liked all his shows will be sadly missed
I remember when I heard the news today I had a big lump in my throat and cried with disbelief. Steve was a great example of a decent Aussie Bloke. I remember visiting Australia Zoo about 8 years ago and meeting both him and Terri. I admit I was a bit star struck thinking this is that lunatic from that croc show. Both he and Terri were about as down to earth as you could get when I asked them to sign their respective postcards with their photos on the front. Steve even drew a cartoon crocodile and scribbled "Crocs Rule" beside it with his name. Like everyone has said he died doing what he loved. I feel very deeply for Terri (what a cute couple they made) and my heart goes out to Bindi Sue and little Bob. He will be greatly missed.
My fave Steve Irwin moment was when he was filming with the Komodo Dragons and he was talking about how dangerous and deadly they were, and that you should never get close to them, and then he was walking about a foot away from one when it saw him and chased him up a tree!!
I also liked how when they dealt with crocodiles it was like wrestling when they all just used to pile on the top, funny.
R.I.P STEVE.(You gave us all some fine moments)
My favorite Steve & Terri moment was the filming of her labor and delivery of their daughter, Bindi. I can barely write anything about this tragedy right now, because I'm so sad at the loss of such a passionate and inspiring man. God bless Terri, Bindi, Bob and Steve's father, Bob.
Whenever he said "Crikey!" and a huge croc would jump forward I would be smiling ear to ear. RIP Steve.
Every moment was fantastic with him. very sad that he died in such a tragic freak accident. R.I.P Steve and may God be watching over his family
I heard about this moring..I am so upset. I really am going to miss him. I loved his shows so much and taking him off doing impressions. He was a great man and he still is a great person even if he is not with us in the human form. I am sure he will stay around in the spirit world to look over his family and his zoo. I think somebody should go out in austirlla and kill the stingray that took Steve away from us all. Horid little thing.
