My puppy has swimmers, can any one help answer questions about it ?

Usually a weakness about getting up on their feet on a slick floor surface. Need to provide a rough surface so the legs don't slip out from beneath the pup. Might also require to hobble the legs together. This can be done with medical tape. being careful not to encircle the leg too tight. Tape around the wrist and across to the opposite wrist leaving 2-4 inches between the legs. Can do the same with the rear legs at the hock. This is only temporary until the legs develop some strength.
I can help. What dvm78 said is the basic way to save a swimmer puppy. To help prevent this in the future you should have little toys and things inside the whelping box for the babies to climb up on and get off their chests. Knocking them over and playing with them is another good way to make them move around. You didn't mention how old this baby was. And also don't forget that this is considered hereditary so remove the parents from your breeding program.
