log onto this website and sign the guestbook to ask about dogs. this bloke is a bit of an **** but knows about dogs. breeds dobermanns. he will reply to you.
Can you please write that out so that we can actually read it without getting a headache.
first go to school to learn how to spell
What will happen when you leave home? Will you take it with you or will you leave it for your mum to look after? They live a long time. What are your mums reasons for not wanting one?
Hey too be frank don't mind...but pls if u love animals DON'T ever thought about MONEY.. IS money is everything for you... its too bad that u neeed to know about daily cost..shame to you.. but u can a dog in ab Rs 2000-3000. depends on the breed
Don't buy a dog, buy "Eats, shoots and leaves" by Lynn Truss. It may help you sound less like a 14 year old chav.
Don't get a dog if you can't be botherd to type properly then I don't think you will be able to cope with the responsibilty of being a caring Dog owner

This is the internet not a mobile phone for texting.
Well first you need to know what breed of dog you want. You can look in your local newspaper(s) in the pets section to see if there is anything you like. Then you can call them and find out more info. on the dog if you want and the price. You just MIGHT be able to talk the price down too. (And to get some extra money, do some things for your neighbors, aunt, or grandma.) You can also do research after you find what breed you want. Like How much brushing will it need per week? And how many times will I have to let it out to play and go to the bathroom per day? And Will I have to trake it to the groomers and pay? This will all depend on what breed of dog you get. And You will have to decide is this going to be an outside or inside dog? And don't forget the vet bill (and the groomers if you have to take it there)! Hope this was some good information for you! Your Welcome!
They need 2 walks, 30 minutes each, one in the morning, one in the afternoon on some nice open space where they can run free without getting run over. If you haven't this in walking distance then owning a dog is just not possible, and not a park either because they have to be kept on lead in the park and mustnt poo.
They cost about £4 a week in dog food and £50 every time you take them to the vets, so look into that Saturday job. Dogs live for over 10 years -where will you be in 10 years time? Don't get a puppy - take yourself off to a dog shelter and look for one there but don't expect to find one on your first visit. Go home and discuss. Please DO NOT buy a pedigree.
Get a book about the kind of dog you want and read it front to back, back to front, middle both ways. Then show your parents how much you know. If you don't know how to care for the dog or what its needs are you could make a big mistake. Learn first, everything you can. Or your parents will have to take care of it and they don't want to do that. Its hard.
If you want to use text language, stay with your mobile phone. First thing is to get educated then think about getting a dog.
Well lets start with the casts..

$300-1000 to buy the pup
$30 a month for food
$100 a year for shots
$200-300 to get the dog spayed or neutered
$30 every 3months to get your dog groomed
$10 for a collar
$10 for a leash
$15 dog dishes
Then if you go on vacation it is about $20 a day to send them to a kennel.

This stuff is not to mention any emergency medical attention might come up.

as far as taking care of the pup.that is a 24 hour job. It is like having a kid. You have to be there to let them out every 2-3 hours. Then you have to spend time EVERYDAY playing with them and loving on them. You will need to make sure that you are up to date on all their shots. When you brinig them home
plus whatever you want to spend on them. It takes time to potty train them. It takes time to teach them right from wrong. Plus when your pup comes home after getting spayed or neutered they are going to need a TON of attention for a solid week. You are going to have to check there sutures and make sure they dont jump or run. Everytime they have to go potty you have to take them out on a leash.

Dogs are a HUGE responsibility, not something to be taken lightly.there are no basics to getting a dog im sorry.

What happens if when you get this dog you decide its too much money or too much work? It will probably end up at a shelter somewhere.thats not fair to the dog now is it? I think that maybe you should wait until you are old enough to take on the responsibility.Sorry!
I have a dog shall I give you?
think you need to learn to spell and be responsable before you get a dog,
well , i have a yorkshire terrier and jack russel cross , she is called diesel and is very small , but still needs lots of attetion and care . i wood say unless some 1 is at home all dai dnt get a puppy , they need 2 have some 1 wid dem 24.7 ,also you have 2 pay somethink like £40 every 3 months 4 flee jabs , then you have got all the accesories that you have 2 get like bowels , leads , collar , bed , and toys so you doggy will be entertained .then comes the question of gettin the dog spayed (so it cant have puppys ) which also costs a huge amount of money

but if you can afford it , get a dog as u get so much joy from havin 1 , i cant imagin ma life wid out diesel !
A dog is like a child. It is a 24/7 job right up to when they die. There is no such thing as a 'little cute doggy', you have to think of their temperament, little dogs can bite more than others. Cost has to include vets fees, grooming, food, accessories ie: bowls, beds, leads, toys etc. They are not cheap, if you want cheap, get a hamster. I have an English Springer Spaniel, they are big, fluffy and so lovable. They are loyal but VERY expensive. He is 2 and I have spent approx. £5,000 so far.
You are obviously too young to be responsible for a pet. If you can't spell it then you can't have it. Get a Goldfish - anyone can look after them.
Different dogs have different needs.

They should be insured (about £20 per month), because vets bills can be huge - you don't want to have to put your dog down because your dog has something curable but expensive to fix.

All dogs need walking, some more than others. Food bills vary, some food is more expensive than others, and obviously a Great Dane will eat more than a chihuahua.

Is there an animal rescue near you? Maybe you could help out there, show your parents you're serious. Also, the people there might be able to give good advice. If you're under 16 there'll be a limit as to what they'll be able to let you do though. If nothing else it can't hurt to ask. Bear in mind though that they are likely to be very busy.

For more info, go to your local library - read up on the subject. Even if your parents don't allow you to have a dog (and to be honest, they ARE demanding and will be for about 15 years - so I can see why they don't want one), the more you learn now, the better you'll be able to handle a dog when you do leave home.
my young miss, dogs are not cute they are servants to man. in the wrong hands they can kill quite easily. i suggest you get a hamster instead
i dont think you should get a dog, learn how to look after yourself first.A dog is for life!
