Japanese akita help?

i need a steel fence for my 25 week old little gem of an akita as she has already destroyed the wooden one.i dont want her near the gate (although its permanently locked i had a gsd pinched!) as she goes to anybody she just loves everybody and i dont want her to get pinched. ive looked at some in hardware stores ie b&q etc but i dont know what gauge to get to keep her safe.my 8 year old gsd wouldnt let a stranger near her but the littly is very strong willed and just loves people. apart from the obvious sicko suggestions of caging her tying her down and nailing her feet to the floor is there anybody out there who has any genuine responses please i dont want to lose her or for anything to happen to her or for one of the local n**heads robbing her for fighting shes a family pet and a soul mate for my gsd who lost her partner thankyou to anyone who can help

Hi. I just asked hubby your question and he says, " 6 gauge ", because it's the thickest and strongest . which is what you would want to protect your dog.

Here is a do-it-yourself site that talks all about fencing:

BTW, l have an Akita / Pit bull mix . the most lovable dog in the world!

' Hope this answer helps; good luck !
Bloody sh-t machine again
Why not get a wrought iron gate, they are strong and can be locked, but can I suggest that you get you're dog microchipped in case of theft
Sorry to say but there "Thick a Sh it " dogs. worse then Red Setters..! .. My mum has two and there next to "Un-trainable"

these dogs need lots of exercise and stimulation or they will get bored and destroy everything..

all i can say is.. Get out your trainers ..! and run your dog every day..
I suggest getting her micro chipped and always have a Collier and tags on her and if she ever go's missing offer a reward but don't say what it is on the posters who ever took her will start to get curious and will give her back just to see how much the reward is but make sure you say for her to come back unharmed.
you need chainlink. Buy from someone like moncastaers who deliver. I would not leave her outside unattended while you are away from the house if you live in such a rough area.
