Patterdale terrier is not wanting to eat?
since this morning he has lost his appetite and is gennerally looking unwell he has lost all his energy which is not like patterdales at all usually very fiesty and playful he is salavating more than normal and has a runny nose shall i seek avet tomorrow or does anybody recognise symptoms

I'd go to the vet. It could be just an upset stomach, but it could be more serious. My pup had symptoms similar for over 10 days, and it turned out to be cancer. I don't want to scare you, but if the symptoms go on more than a few days, I'd call the Vet ASAP.
i havent heard of a disease or nything like that but see a vet and try different foods. maybe it cant sleep good at night so it is tired in the day and has to sleep to get its energy back up or something. thats sad though.
Has he been upset by the fireworks, I have been off my dinner for 3 days now, will it ever end.

I think he might be sick, taking him to the vet doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Maybe the food he eats upsets his stomach. the vet might know what to do, but maybe theres somethign in the food or did somethign happen the night before to upset him?
excessive salavation could mean poisoning. I am a vet tech and I recomend a vet asap. There are many things that could be happening including a twisted stomach or blockage.Don't wait!
