Is my cat pregnat she wont let me touch her belly?

Answers:
well, since your a breeder you should know what to do, since breeders are the only ones that should be breeding cats. it is irresponciable for anyone else to.
She could be ill, take her to the vet to be sure for a check up
Possibly or she could be ill ?
She could be pregnat. She could also be sick. You should take her to the vet. I hope it is nothing that bad. GOOD LUCK!!
The belly of a cat is the most ticklish part. That's why.
Why should she? Would you like someone touching your belly if you were pregnant.? She is a lady!!
Agreed, pregnant or sick..or she could just hate having her belly touched. Even if she liked it before, she may have recently changed her mind (cats are finicky like that:). Take her to the vet to be sure.

Good luck!
My cat just had kittens. At first she didn't let me touch her belly, so I took her to the vet for a visit to see if there was anything wrong! He said not to worry that see was just uncomfortable on her back and that she didn't like being belly rubbed right now. After a while all she wanted done was belly rubes!
get her to the vet could be she is in pain
she could be ill or something i would go to the vets and get her checked out to be on the safe side
maybe she just doesn't like you
Frequently, female cats don't like to have their tummy touched, I don't know why. It's a very vulnerable area. Tessie is also a clean freak--she spends a lot of time washing and arranging her fur "just so" and doesn't appreciate our ruffling her fur. None of my female cats have liked having their tummies rubbed.

Come to think of it, the only cats I've had over the years that liked having their bellies rubbed were my male cats. Hank will stretch out and ask for it, in fact. BUT, it has to be HIS idea---typical male.

Your best bet is to take Kitty to the vet. If she is "with child", what will you do?

In the long run, please consider having Kitty spayed (after she has her litter, if she is pregnant). She will have a longer and healthier life. If you need "financial assistance" with that big cost, you can contact a group such as Spay and Save, Fur Fund, or some of the others out there and they can issue a discount certificate that your vet may (or may not!) honor. It is well worth the cost, believe me.

All will be well. Please hug Kitty for me (not her tummy!).
Good luck.
You didnt say how old she is and if she is 9-12 months old, she might be pregnant, if you let her go out and roam....However, the stomach on felines, as dogs, are their most vulnerable spot in a fight. Another cat get the other on its back, and the back feet come into play, and they go for the stomach, and a lot of primary organs. This makes a lot of cats, touchy, touchy about their stomach.
Did she let you touch her belly before? Cats generally only let people whom they COMPLETELY trust to touch their bellies.

You should have your cat spayed and then you wouldn't have to wonder if she was pregnant. I am not preaching there are just so many unwanted animals in the world.
its coz she thinks yor tryen to harm her kittens trust me thats happened to me dont worry good luck!
maybe her bellie hurts is it big
why do you want to? cats are vermin
Probably not . . . cats are not like dogs, they don't enjoy having their bellies rubbed. They will sometimes display their bellies to you, but they generally don't enjoy having them rubbed or stroked. I believe it hurts them when the fur is rubbed against their skin because it is sensitive there.
take her to the vet.
she might be but Cats HATE it when you touch there belly
yes your cat is definatly preggy your cat is protecting its young natural cats instinct good luck
She could be pregnant, but she could also have a stomachache
Some cats just don't like having their belly touched, like some cats hate being picked up it just cat weirdness
1. Is your cat spayed?
2. Does she go outside or do you have an un-neutered male cat in the house?
3. Is she gaining weight around the middle?
If you answered NO to the first question and yes to either the second or third question, then your cat is probably pregnant. Take her to the vet for a proper diagnosis. She may have an intestinal blockage that is causing swelling of the abdomen which is causing her great discomfort.
Please have your cat spayed.
Incidently, if you answered yes to the first question then no, she is not pregnant and she most definitely needs to see the vet if this behavior is new. Some cats just don't like their bellies rubbed. If she used to enjoy it but suddenly doesn't, there could be a problem.
