Daft question?
i started to pick my dogs poo up with tissue and flush it down the toilet because i don't like having it hanging around in the bin for a week. but my dad told me not too, because dog poo does not break down like humans and it blocks the drains (not sure were he got this information) does anyone know if this is true.
Answers:
Nonsense. Poo is poo, and animal faeces breaks down much quicker than human because they don't eat all the chemicals we do. Much better to flush it than to throw it in the trash!
don't think that true cos if you squirt water from hose onto dog poo on the lawn- it eventually dissipates and disappears.
Not true
I've never had a problem putting it down the drain. I dont use the loo for it though - I just lift the manhole cover and put the poo straight down - I hose out the drain every week and have never had a problem with blocked drains. Have been doing this for 15 years and I have 2 german shepherds - always have had - so quite alot of poop going down. I wouldnt worry about it xx
any poo (dog cat human) is better being put down the loo dog poo is no more lightly to block the drain than human poo its better to flush it away then having it sitting around in the bin BUT make sure that you all ways wash your hands
I do the same thing and have been for years and years with no problems at all!
not true.
This is partly true. Our water cleaning systems are not designed to break down and remove the parasites in dog poo so it is dangerous to flush away dog poo- it can't be properly cleaned! Cant believe you guys are all chucking it down the drains?! We are all drinking that!
It is total rubbish it breaks down like human does
ask your dad to get an outside bin.
Not true poop is poop
What a load of shite
The sewer authorites may not like it, but i indeed ought to go on down the pipe with no problem.
this is so not true
