My cat has a fettish?
my little queen has this fettish for my hubby's coat
she is a very chatty cat at the best of times
i mean meow meow if she walks in a room or wants to go and sit in the garden or being stroked
but recently she started to meow a hell of a lot for almost the whole day.
then is dawned on my hubby while i was out to get his coat out and put it on the couch when i returned there she was cocooned in the sleve of his coat
she never made a noise for the rest of the evening
she has her own cat bed and plenty of toys
but as she is now 12 years old i'm wondering if female cats get silly fetishes as our 18 year old male never did
also she has started to take a bath and cats arnt meant to like water each time any one runs a tub for their self she jumps in the bath just as the taps are turned off
this is a new thing for her also

we had an old cat that started doing strange things that she would have never dreamed of doing while young.
I decided she had a bit of cat alzhimers.
She would walk all over the place getting chatty and then go into places she would never think of before
She was even gong outside and she always hated it before.
our cat lived until she was 21 years old
We now have another 14 year old cat starting to act like a kitten
both females so maybe it is hormones or something

Perhaps she's going a little senile (that is NOT meant as a rude comment, just a suggestion!), She may get comfort from the smell of your hubby's coat, as long as he does not mind there is no harm in it.

I had a cat that was crazy about anything with wool in it. She might also be cold - if it keeps her happy & quiet, let her keep the coat
I know my mum in law cat likes to follow people to the toilet, and my cat anytime she hears water running she has to get in the sink, its a cute part of her personality.

My cat Max will either lay on my husband's clothes or on my husband's side of the bed when my husband isn't home. To me this is strange because Max doesn't like men especially when my husband isn't home. When my husband is home Max totally ignores me. Let your cat be. She probably misses your husband.By the way Max is a male cat.

Tell your hubby to get a new coat so she can lie on it all the time, apart from when she's in the bath obviously.
It's not just females. One of my males loves my best friend's coat. As soon as she takes it off and lays it on the sofa he is on it. And he gives her dirty looks when she is getting ready to leave.
