Has taken their dog to a self pet wash? Do you like them?
We have one in the neighborhood. Sounds fairly easy. They supply everything and do the clean up? I was wondering about cost.
Answers:
They have one in my town that I use. It's $8.95 and well worth the cost to me. It has all the supplies you need, brushes, shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner, nail clippers, towels, and a blow dryer. Best part is you get to leave all the hair and wet mess behind!
Used to take my dog to one by me. $10 would give you all the supplies you needed including a choice of different shampoos. Plus, I didn't have to worry about my bathroom drain being clogged or cleaning dog hair off every square inch of my bathroom.
I LOVED IT! I had a Chow mix though. He had a very thick, medium length coat that was difficult to maintain. Right now I have two short haired dogs and only use the do it yourself dogwash in the winter. During the summer, my dogs get the hose at home.
I get a good wash and scrub for £25. The van comes to me, and I supply the electric. Firm is called Bugsie's, franchised all over UK.
sounds great! I hate the mess it makes at home! Where is this?
I didnt like the dryer at mine it only blew cold air and my dogs did nto like cold air blowing on them while wet.
I wash/groom my dog outside in the yard. If there a Mobile dog groomer I would try once + if dog was comfortable I would try again.
do my own its cheaper
i recommend it because the price is low and no mess or washing location hassle. you should give it a try.
i think it is around $9 a wash
