Why Ban Sports Like Dog Fighting?
The Dogs Fight Because They Want To Fight Like Boxers. It is not cruel if they want to. The ones that don't want to fight are sold on.

I don't do dog-figts,don't care to attend but I DO hunt/work my terriers & KNOW how REAL animals behave. Nobody *makes* them OR *trains* them!! They do it(or not-lol) because they LOVE it!!

The only reason those breeds of dogs want to fight in the first place is because they have been selectively bred by people to be aggressive. This inbred instinct is then developed by behavioural conditioning on the part of the owners. So no, it really isn't a natural thing. It's a direct result of human bloodthirstiness.
Aside from that, in most cases, the non-aggressive dogs aren't sold on, they are either killed or left to die.

Why don't YOU go into the ring and beat the hell out of someone else until you're both bloodied and battered, and let the DOGS watch, instead? Maybe with chains or something so you can get those nice skin-breaking wounds.

Boxers wear gloves on their fists, and in non-pro fights they even wear headgear. Boxers also go through months of training, and of course dogs don't have these options.

I personally would not be interested in pit fighting, but I MYOB. I also realize the thugs have changed it and this is just another tool to be used by the AR groups to be used in their no more pet agenda. I read an excellent history of it last year and it changed my opinion of it, it was NOT like people have been led to believe.
