Ferrets as pets.?

Is a Chutney Ferret a dangerous pet to keep and is a Womb Weasel safer?

Answers:
Amethyst2 is right. My womb weasel stinks to high heaven!

Whatever though, I love and look after him.

Whenever my womb weasel looks up at me with his one good eye, I know it's time to give him a stroke.
No, they are both dirty little feckers, ask Richard Whitely
both can be a dangerous pet to have there teeth are razor sharp and they can bite you to the point you have to have stiches and they don't have a good temperment
dnt know ,i like pole cats better
a weasel is probably safer yes , but you came tame a ferret
they STINK!!
l dont know of your choses. ferrets are perfect pets. We have two and they are really playful, they follow you around and play-like cats, and are really low maintenance care wise. Only downfall they stink so you would have to have them neutered.
They are cutey pies - but they smell godawful! My mate had some.
I don't know about the breeds you mentioned, but domesticated ferrets are wonderful pets. I have had them for 8 years now. Yes they smell, but like any small animal, you have to be diligent about keeping their cage clean. I bath mine once a month and it really helps. You can litter train them, and socialize them so they do not bite. They are very cute and kittenlike, and quiet, perfect for an apartment.
i haven't heard of either of those two my ferrets are marshalls and i have this stuff called bioodor to keep the smell down. the marshalls come altered and desented. that really helps with the smell. check out marshalpet.com; ferret.org; essentialferretguide.com and ferretfacts.com my two are the most gentle sweetest things EVER.
they make good pets
