Does anyone know where i can find a treadmill for excercising my greyhound in Ireland?
I know that there are treadmills made for dogs with cages around them but i can't seem to find one. None on ebay.
Any help would be great.

Go to Total Fitness or Jackie Skellys. I've seen loads of dogs using them in there.

Do a yahoo search on dog treadmills.
greyhounds don't need loads of exersize. A couple of good walks a day will be fine for it and certainly more interesting that being forced to walk on a treadmill. Don't be so idle, walk it.
my my. you are a lazy girl are you not? take the bloody thing out for a walk! after all you are in Ireland which is renowned for its green hills etc. How cruel to force a dog to work out on a treadmill, well i hope you get one and your dog despises it and refuses to use it and you waste all your money.
With the amount of walking a greyhound is happy with, it's the epitome of laziness to want to put one on a treadmill! Get off the couch and take the poor dog out! If you're too lazy to walk the dog, I doubt you'll be able to train your greyhound to use a treadmills either - also requires effort!

Water treatments mixed with tread mills strenghten the muscles and take the pressure of the joints. Less chance of getting splints.Great if you can get in touch with them also they might be able to tell you where you can get a tread mill through there supplier. Hope this helps. Michelle :-)
to all the people insulting this woman for being lazy - did you ever consider that she might be in a wheelchair or ill and might not be able to take her beloved pet out for a walk? You automatically assume the worst!
If you can't walk your dog yourself, maybe you should look into hiring a dog walker. I don't like the idea of using a treadmill. Your greyhound will be much happier getting his exercise outside in the fresh air.
