Ideas for a relaxing holiday (in UK or Europe) whilst 5 months pregnant?

Anyone know any nice hotels/self catering/spa places in the UK or a short flight away in Europe? We will go in October when I'm 5 months in looking for some peace and/or autumn sun. There are such rip off places around I'd prefer a personal recommendation.

I went to Skala in Cephalonia in the first week of october when I was 22 weeks pregnant last time. It was fabulous. Stayed at the Tara Beach hotel, which was right on the beach. Hired a car and spent several glorious days going up and down the coast finding little bays to go to and quaint cafes to sit in and eat at. The weather wasnt too hot nor too cold and we did go in the sea, but it got a bit chillier at night and I needed a cardie! Everyone was fantastic as I was visably pregnant and the Kefalonians were so friendly. As it was very late season it was quiet too but still had some night life if you wanted it. There was loads of places to eat really near to the hotel too.
I hope that you find a place to go and that you enjoy it wherever that may be. Enjoy.

I went to the lakes when i just needed some quiet, cant find the cottage we hired, but this looks like a nice site?

wow Velken you look like my lost lost twin! lol
You might get sun, but it won't be warm. Fall has already started for most of Europe. Its low 60's today. I also suggest making sure the tourist spots are still open wherever you go. Here in Germany, alot of things are closed or covered after mid-October due to winter weather and freezing.
Have you tried centerparcs
Bournmouth is wonderful, most b and b are good.

Hi there. Good luck in your search. I went away when I was 34 weeks pregnant (with a letter from my GP confirming I was fit to fly). I actually went to Salou in the Costa Dorada, Spain. It was fantastic. My other half and daughter founds things that they could do while I sat by the pool or on the beach like a whale!! I had the best two weeks ever, just chilling and reading, as well as eating plenty. All in the lovely hot sun. But I suppose it's gonna depend on whether or not you want sun. In the UK, I'd go for the Lake District for a relaxing (no contact from anyone) holiday. Abroad, I'd definitely go back to Salou. In fact, we're thinking of going again next year...what more can I say!
Ireland was nice when we went last. I wasn't pregnant then though!

We went with a group of friends and rented a country house out in the wilds in Co. Cork. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and the weather was lovely despite it being early November when we went. We visited all the local landmarks (and kissed the Blarney Stone). Its the sort of place where you can find lots of low-impact things to do, just going for walks, visiting landmarks, enjoying the scenery, going for long drives, meals out etc.

The only problem was we decided to go by Ferry and the Irish Sea Crossing was absolutely stomach churning (my ex spent the entire voyage throwing up with his head in a bag!). I think if I went again I'd fly. I think you're still OK to fly at 5 months pregnant though.
I am pregnant and we are going to northumbria in September to stay in forest pine lodge - try www.country-holidays.co.uk which is where I found mine. have a lovely time
