Could I still be pregnant even though I still have periods?
I HAVE HAD ACHY BREASTS NOW FOR 2 MONTHS, I ALSO HAVE PAIN IN MY SIDES AND SOMETIMES PAIN IN MY LOWER BACK AND I AM CONSTANTLY HUNGRY. I FELT EXACTLY THE SAME WAY WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY 8MTH OLD SON ALTHOUGH I DID NOT HAVE MY PERIODS THEN. I HAVE HAD MY PERIODS FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS, ALTHOUGH EACH ONE A FEW DAYS EARLY AND I USED TO BE ABLE TO PINPOINT THE DAY. I DID TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST 2 WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST PERIOD BECAUSE I JUST 'FELT' PREGNANT (AND STILL DO) AND IT WAS NEGATIVE. COULD I STILL BE PREGNANT - IS IT POSSIBLE?

i dont think you could be still getting periods, best thing to do is go to the doctor get a blood test.
Oh yes.
Do a preganancy test.
its better to go visit your doc and get ur self checked.they always r right than any home prego tests.
yes it is i've known some women to have periods for a good few months into pregnancy. It can depend on how your period is if it spotting or coming and going then you should get it checked but i would go to the doctors anyway
Please dont shout..we all have good enough hearing for this board. Yes you can still have periods while you are pregnant but they are usually lighter. You must see a doctor and get another test to find out for sure. This is not the type of question that can be answered fully on here.
Remember, every pregnancy is different, I know that some people have a period all the way throughout their pregnancy, and some have it just part of the pregnancy. Anything is possible.
definatly could be a possibility as my aunt had periods for the first 6 months with her first child
YES . thats not only my opinion but i know that it's true as it happend to me ..and the dr didnt know i was pregnant till i was almost 3 months . i was a larger lady at the time and i think although it wasnt said ..that that was why i and the dr didnt know i was pregnant . all i can say is that if you think you are do a lot of tstis and go to your drs for them . and if its some thing you want then . congratulations .. my son is 23 now and i wouldnt change a thing .. but what ever you do . remember .. be true to yourself .. and good luck for the way you want it to be ..
Although rare, pregnancies are still possible with a period - highly unlikely as you didn't have it with your first pregnancy (but every pregnancy is different). I'll tell you what I think - I am sure you are not pregnant, it is just your hormoes going back to normal and 'missing' the times when you were pregnant. It is somewhat psychological, although you are not aware of it. The reason I say this is because I went through a similar thing last month. My baby is nearly 6 months old, but I kept feeling these bubbles going through my tummy and was convinced I was in early stages of pregnancy. To add to that, I also was convinced I had metallic taste in my mouth which is what I had when I was pregnant with my boy. I had periods since giving birth, and although I was convinced it was all in my head, I made my hubby buy a HPT and, of course, it was negative. I have stopped 'imagining' things now, and I am convinced it was just my hormones returning to normal after breastfeeding, and me misssing 'the times of pregnancy'. Sometimes, we just subconsciously place imaginary thoughts in our head, perhaps for the reasons described above, or because deep down we wish we were pregnant again. Hope this helps.
You're most fertile after having a baby and it's very easy to get pregnant again. You should see a dcotor for a scan and/or blood test as home tests are not so great.
The best thing to do is go to your doctor and get a blood test done as it is 99% accurate! I personally think it's unfair that some women experience periods whilst being pregnant, as if life ain't complicated enough! Good luck, try to relax and not stress about it.
It is possible. Go to your GP and get them to take a test.
it is possible my mate had periods all the way threw her first pregnancy and never new she was pregnant she even went on the Pepsi max roller coaster 2 days before giving birth when she went into labour she got rushed to hospital thinking she needed her appendix out and their they told her she was in labour so it was a big shock so it is possible
if you are really getting periods then you can't be pregnant. You need to get a full check up by your GP or a gynaecologist and make sure that they are periods and not bleeding for sny other reason. It could be low hormone levels giving you those symptoms too. Did you change contraception or anything in the last few months? Good luck.
