Do I need to miss a period to take test?
Answers:
if it puts your mind at rest take a test, you've probably "delayed" your period by stressing out over possibly being pregnant. lots of things can delay your period. you'll probably find that once the next test comes up negative, your period will start cos your mind will be at ease that your not pregnant.
Normally yes
no
If you are on the pill, you need to call your doctor if you are concerned.
yeah u do need to miss a period before u take a pregnancy test!
No you don't need to miss a peiod to take a test
I would wait for a missed period.
There;s no harm in trying. If you're pregnant it should show up.
Ultimately if you're having any worries, ask a doctor, he can give you a bloodtest which picks up the earliest signs of pregnancy.
yes you can still take the test. If it shows up negative again and you still feel that way you should go see your dr. its not good for you to continue to take the pill if you are pregnant.
Its best to wait untill your period is due or late because the hormone levels arent usually high enough to detect early on, sometimes you can get a false negative even if you take it at the correct time. If your period is near and your getting symptoms then you may get a positive result as your obviously having side effects from the hormones now. But dont rely on a negative result if your testing early, just a positive one. Best luck xx
You would ovulate 12 to 14 days after your period and it is at this time that you would fall pregnant. Have you had your 7 day break with a period? If not then yip take another test and see what happens.
there are tests that will show up positive before your period is due, seeing as you are on the pill, i doubt you are pregnant, but my friend caught pregnant whilst on the pill twice so it can happen. go to your chemist, clear blue is one of the best, good luck whatever the outcome
iv had exactly the same problem about a week ago. I thought i was pregnant, i was being sick and id missed my period and was on the pill. everything turned out ok though for me, just turned out i was 2 weeks late on, for some unknown reason. I know how you must feel, i was terrified when i thought i was pregnant. Id go and take another test and if it still come up negative then your probably not pregnant. If your still concerned however that you are pregnant then go and see your doctor and I'm sure they will be able to do a test and put all your fears to rest. If you are though don't worry too much about it, everything will workout. Good luck too ya x x x
No you don't you can stil have a period and be pregnant. Go to the doctors and they will do a test - go in a morning for your test as it's more accurate. This is the only way you can put your mind at rest.
No, you can use some tests up to 5 days in advance, eg clearblue or first response.
you dont need to miss a period to take a test because if your pregnant it will show up
yes you need to miss ur period first no use doing one before
no some women still have periods while pregnant. although if you are pregnant see a doctor right away if your bleeding it could be a sign of serious complication. If the test shows neg. wait a little longer and take another. I took 4 tests with my last pregnancy before it showed a positive.
yes, i havent missed mine yet, but ive taken three pregnancy tests and they have all been positive.
ther is a pregnancy test that shows up up to 6 days b4 a missed period but if you are on the pill you shudnt be but also getting pregnant on the pill can cause miscarriage so get medical advice if you are concerned...,good luck!
you could possible try another test but may be best to wait to see if your period comes or go and see your dr if in doubt coz they'll be able to do blood tests and tell for definate
i would say yes but try any way
of course
A pregnancy test should be accurate from the day your period is due.
Mine was due on a Friday. On the Thursday night before I started brown spotting but it stopped the next day. So I bought a pregnancy test and did it first thing on the Saturday and it was positive.
