What does implantation feel like?
Answers:
Implantation happens after the egg has been fertilized by a sperm. The fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tube to the uterus where it implants itself. Implantation does not feel like anything.. in fact, you don't feel it. Some women have some bleeding (very little spotting), but for most, you wouldn't know this is happenning.
Well, with mine it was kind of a cramping feeling in my pelvic area, almost like I was going to start my period but NEVER did! :)
I heard that not everyone will feel this especially if this is your first pregnancy. I can vouch for that. With my 1st I didn't feel a thing, but with my second WOW I felt it.
I genuinely don't think I felt a thing. I didn't get any spotting either.
For me, it felt like intense period pain, I was in so much pain I was crying and thought I was going to lose my baby, then I saw the spotting blood- yikes, I was scared.
But it settled down in a day or two and I was fine after that.
I do not recall feeling anything.
But here it says. http://www.babycentre.co.uk/preconceptio.
Implantation bleeding or cramping: About eight days after ovulation, you may experience implantation spotting, a slight staining of a pink or brown colour, as well as some cramping. You might also see some spotting around the time you expect your period; this is caused by the egg burrowing into the endometrial lining.
If I felt anything at all it must have been insignificant - because I don't remember it.
I don't think you can actually feel the fertilised egg implanting itself as such. Although I did have whats known as "bedding in" pains. This is where the ligaments in your back loosen up ready for pregnancy. Lower back ache especially when walking. But I suppose not everybody has these as we're all different.
