What does it mean if my babys head is 3/5 engaged.?
i'm 35 and half weeks pregnant. does this mean the baby will probably come early?

No, it just means that he is getting in position to be born and is unlikely to turn again before the birth.
just means baby in position to be born could come anytime or could go over .have your bags packed for hospital just to be safe.
You can be like that for awhile. I was dialated to 5 at 34 wks and stayed that way for 2 wks. Then the dr induced me at almost 37 just cause I was an emoitional wreak. But baby was fine and there really was no other reason to induce. Don't worry about it. If there was a danger the Dr would put you on bed rest and steriods for the babies lungs or something. But even if baby is born anytime now he/she will be just fine. Continue about you life just as normal. Your going to have a healthy baby soon!
How spooky. My midwife put that on my notes last monday and didn't explain!. So I asked my personal health visitor (my mum!). And yes, you are 3/5ths engaged. I was 38 weeks, with my first baby too, when she said this (40 weeks tomorrow). Still no baby!. Not even any signs
