What was your baby doing at 7 months?

my baby has just turned 7 months and i am curious as to what sort of things he should be doing at his age. he has been sitting up since 5 months, can roll over but cannot crawl yet. i think he will just maybe not crawl as all he wants to do is be standing holding our hands and walking

Answers:
He didn't do it! He didn't run a red light, pull a bank job, or broadside a police cruiser.I was with him the whole time. That's our story and we're sticking to it!
she beat me at chess and then discovered a new type of elementary particle.

But seriously - your kid sounds pretty normal. Boys are never in much of a hurry at that stage. I've heard of boys that take much longer to do anything.
don't worry my baby didn't crawl untill 8 months and she didn't walk untill 18 months,
You need to really encourage tummy time, so that she will crawl.
Pooing alot
Sounds perfectly normal to me.

I didn't expect my daughter to crawl as she just wanted to walk too, but she crawled from around 8 months, until she walked at 10 months. Once they start walking there is no stopping them - so don't worry to much about what your baby is or isn't doing, just enjoy your time together.
Theyre all different darling ,but he seems to be doing really well, our Holly walked at 9 months ,but the twins are 14 months old now and theyre not walking yet, enjoy every moment ,i love them and theyre not babies for long !
Every child is different my son was crawling around at 6 months but my other 1 was much later and my 3rd son didnt crawl at all he bum shuffled everywhere until he could walk .. .. they all do it at their own pace and in their own way !
mine was doing handstands, cartwheels, u name it !
don't worry love i have 4 kids aged 7 . 6 .20 months and 5 months and they have been different but Ur son sounds like hes doing well
well my little girl was crawling at six months i was so proud! not doing much else at 8 months tho, my sons goind to be lazy tho i can tell. they are all different my friends little girl didnt walk till 16 months and shes fine!
its fun finding out what other kids can do makes you feel proud of your own.
btw my daughter was brill at crawling and walking early but she doesnt talk all too well yet, so they are all good at different things.
Seems he is doing great, could offer him a spoon while you feed him he may want to try himself. Saying mama and/or dada, putting everything in his mouth, etc.is a normal thing at this point.
I always used to compare my daughters development with other children her age and it drove me crazy because all kids do things at different times. I realised it was preventing me from enjoying her development so i stopped and everything she does now is a beautiful suprise!
My daughter crawled at 5 months and was walking at 10 months.

Every baby is different and they all reach their milestones at different times.
My baby is 7 1/2 months and she is crawling and pulling to stand, but collapses if she tries to take even one step. It is normal for babies not to be crawling yet-I think up to 9 months and many babies do not crawl at all. He sounds great!
my little girl first stood up on her own at 7 months, holding on to furniture. but my little boy who is nearly 7 months isn't sitting or crawling but can roll over. they're all different.
My little girl is 8 months old now. She doesn't get up and crawl, but she moves around VERY well by scooting herself across the floor on her stomach. Anytime I lay her on her back, she turns over in a hurry because she wants to get on that belly and get going! I'd say she's been scooting fairly well since she was 7 to 7 and a half months old.
our 7 month old baby sits up and rolls all over the place. He says mama and dada but does not crawl and has no teeth as yet he is a happy little fella as he is always laughing and is a pleasure to have. We have just given him his first hair cut cos he had a really fluffy head.
i was worried 2 but at the end of the day there all different an no matter how they push they wont do it till there ready no earlier no later so just give encourage ment an teach an they will do it in good time
My youngest is 9 months, and still not sitting up. My toddler was the same at her age when all the other babies were crawling and standing up. At first I was really worried, especially since she'd had menningitis at 5 months and I'd been warned the illness may hinder her physical developement. So imagine my surprise when one day she just stood up and walked straight across the room!! Moral of my experience? Relax - your child will develop at his own pace.
Let him do his own thing. All babies are different and progress at their own pace. 7 months is a funny age, he sounds absolutely 'normal' for his age. A lot of babies don't crawl, maybe he'll walk first. Don't worry about it and enjoy him at this age as it goes by so quickly.
