my last pregnancy i was 11 days late. i tried everything, walking, eating pineapple, spicy foods, sex, jumping up and down, nothing worked, even the midwifes at hospital gave me a sweep and that didnt work, but baby will come soon, good luck and i just hope im not gonna be late again, im due on saturday

first off by now her doctor should enduce her but, if they wont she needs to tak a laxative. It will make room for the baby to come out this is why a lot of doctors give enemas. Also, when you have your last doctor visit that sets a lot of women into labor, try putting two of your fingers in her as far as you can.

Talk to her OB about when to induce. Mine told me that, in general, it is uncommon to let a pregnancy go more than a week over. See if there is a reason he/she has not scheduled this.
try walking, have sex, nipple stimulation. she will not have long to wait even if nothing works. most obs will not let women carry over 42 weeks.
the baby will come when its ready, see your midwife in your next anti natal and she'll sort you out goodluck

DEEP Squats, sex, foot massages! Nothing really helped me, I was induced a couple days before my due date, however, i ended up having her on the due date! :D I suggest talking to the dr about induction. Hope this helps!

You've gotta be patient! The baby will come out in her sweet time. Your wife's body isn't ready yet-don't worry it very unusual for the baby to be more than 2 weeks past their due date! I've heard of herbal massage oils that are supposed to help in labor. And I've heard that raspberry leaf oil, when applied topically can help too. But your best bet is to ask your midwife or doctor! Good luck!

The thing that started me off in labour was my Hubby twiddling with my nipples. Labour started within 30 minutes

I went 2 weeks over due with most my kids.
perhaps the due date is off. Don't force labour.

My baby was 4 days over due my dad had rang me for a chat he went on and on for at least an hour thats when my labour started.

However, I took cod liver oil and gave birth 12 hours later. It worked for me.
Take a mouthful of cod liver oil and that will bring it on be prepared for the hospital.

9 Days is nothing, both mine were 3 weeks late, Dont worry the doctor will induce her if it goes on too long.
