Ovulation? i am on cycle day 22 of a 34 day cycle still havent ovulated yet any good answers or help?
Answers:
The average normal woman might have 2 cycles in a year where they don't ovulate. Unless you are monitoring, in order to get pregnant, you would never know this. So it might just be an anovulatory cycle this time.
Or you might have missed your ovulation depending on how you normally look for it. The only reliable way is to chart your basal temperature. I use fertilityfriend.com and have got pregnant 3 times using only my temperature. I found all the other methods - checking cervix or using OPK's just didn't give me the same reliable information month after month. I got pregnant cycle 3, cycle 1 and then cycle 8 but that was after a m/c and was really cycle 3 after my body returned to normal.

Check out that site. Has lots of ways to detect ovulation, and it is effective. I was skeptical myself, but read the book on my dr. advice, and conceived that month.
Should be about 14+ days from start of your menstrual period. HOWEVER. Depends on other signs your body makes. Cervical fluid, cervical position and basal body temperature. Charting all three of these is a really good indicator. Then, once the egg 'drops' down the fallopian tube, you have about 12-24+ hours to conceive. (the cervical fluid should be the eggwhite looking stuff. provides nutrients to have sperm live longer to reach the egg. also, is natural lube to also facilitate this process.)
Cervix should be HIGH, SOFT and OPEN in order to allow sperm to enter. I know this all seems complicated, but truthfully, once you really get to know your body, it will all make complete sense, and you will know quite easily when you ovulate.
Try this site, or just get the book (i have the book and recently downloaded software bc we're trying for baby #2!)
Good Luck and I really hope this helps!! :o)

not any answers but i would wait until you get your next period if you still have not ovulated then see a doctor you may ovulate in the next couple of days but if you are stressed or worried about it this can cause you to be late ovulating or you can miss a cycle
Another woman obsessed with ovulating.YUCHHH!
You do not always ovulate every cycle. I have a 35 day cycle and I probably only ovulate every third cycle.
