How old do you think a girl should be before you buy them a bra?

Answers:
Hi please dont leave it to late i never got a bra till i was 15 my mum didnt bother about me and in the end i went into care and thats when i got my first bra i sufferd so much in school with the bullying ect i would get her a bra before she goes to high school
when they start to develope i was 11
26
When they start poking the t-shirt from within!
Whenever they start needing the support. I was in the 6th grade when I started using a bra. I believe I was 12 or so. I developed early, some girls won't develope until later.
age doesn't matter.when they have their boobs.
I don't know that a specific age is really the question here. If she needs it, get her one. I think most girls start wearing them in the later elementary years.
Well my 9 yr old neice has developing breasts, so i say whenever the girl has enough breasts to see, they are oldenough for a bra
about 12
You should buy them a bra when they start showing signs of developing breasts. Even if you think they're "too young", she's better off with the support she'll need right from the get-go.
when you can start seeing stuff
no boobs, no bra, simple as that.
Some girls never need any.
as soon as they can fit into the smallest size
around 5th grade
nothing to do with age there just when you see a bit of wibbly wobbly going on around abouts that area think its safe to say its time enough
You shouldnt go on age, but the size of the girl's chest. I was wearing crop tops til I was about 14 as I had tiny boobs, but have since grown and grown and grown!
at the age of puberty when their sexual characteristics start to develop and when your daughter starts feeling these changes. she may find it uncomfortable, feeling bare .. and when she starts to notice that her friends are already wearing them. then it's high time for her to have one ;)
your question is wrong, it should state: when a girl has entered puberty and is starting to show her boobs should she buy a bra even though she might be __ years old?
i would of thought it would depend on the girl
I was a late bloomer, 14, but I wanted a bra before that, probably around 12.

There's a book called "All About Me" from the American Girl series. It's great for age 9 & up. It talks about bras, shaving, hygiene. Girl stuff!
When they are 11 or 12!
take off the top and check it that does she has breasts if yes then.
It depends, if she is starting to develop you need to get her one. If she is older and a late bloomer it normally helps their confidence to have one even if it is not needed. If she is a younger child and just wanting one because she thinks it is neat, it wouldnt hurt to get her a sports bra type so she can get used to wearing one.
When the girls start poking out. Just start with a halter type undershirt if necessary. If she just wants one, I'd say 5th grade, even if she doesn't actually need one would be okay. But only if she wants one.
This Is a hard one just b/c everyone matures at different times, I would say when she starts having breast then It's time, I was 14, but there are girls out there that have started younger and older than 14. ((GoOd LuCk)) and I hope my answer was of some satisfaction to you.
when they need the support, age doesn't matter.
I might be missing something but shouldn't you start wearing a bra when there is something to support?
Its not really at any age.just when they start to develop, and they are getting some breasts
Hi when she starts developing or if she is asking for one you can buy really small ones now it wont do her any harm to have one early if she wants
Girls should get a training bra, as soon as they start to develop. It's just to provide a liner, so that they don't poke out from their shirt.
You definitely don't want gross men (and they will) looking at your little girls stuff.
whenever they start to develop breasts. some girls develop early others are late, so theres not an exact age to do it.
