Taking my 1 year old daughter to majjorca spain any advice about drinking water for her or any other tips ple
Answers:
Not a parent, but a former nanny who had attended families everywhere, including camping. You can give her tap water, but I suggest that you boil it first. Find a way to keep her out of the sun, if she likes hats then that's good. Most of the time, children her age don't like hats, so shady areas and sunscreen are best for those types. Also create an identity badge for her in both English and Spanish (Spain spanish of course) Just in case, trust me. Basically it's a tag with her name, your names, can be reached info along with some medical info and safety pin it on her shirt. One of the kids I had watched had wandered from his parents, plus he had a medical condition. When someone found him, he was already suffering early effects of his illness.Fortunately someone had found him and saw the medical info, and rushed him to a hospital. The doctor's reached his parents and everything is ok.
have fun
the water is fine just one tip pls don;t give her spelling lessons.
Don't drink the water out of the taps. Other wise it will make her very ill. Keep with bottled water from the shops over there and don't add any ice to drink. Have a good time. And be carefull of the sun keep her covered all times and cover her head especially.
bottled water only and the same for you, have an good trip
Have a great time.
Bottled water is OK, but also if you are going into a bar, make sure that she doesn't have ice in her drinks.
only drink bottled water, if she doesnt want to drink water perhaps buy a bpttle of squash and mix accordingly
We are talking about Spain , not Pakistan!
Of course it is Ok to drink tap water, but to be at ease , give her bottled water.
Water is perfectly safe, but as a lot is desalinated it doesn't taste very nice, so Bottled water for drinking, you can get it for about 60p for 8 litres (85cents). Wash all fruit and veg, some supermarkets sell a safe disinfectant for washing salad veg, it's tasteless and harmless.
use bottled water an boil it. make sure u have a sun canopy not the umbrella they r usless the canopy will completly cover her. foctor 50 an keep her in the shade an plenty of drinks. i took my little fella away when he was 3 months an again when he was 1 during the day all i put on him was a vest it keeps up the nappy an its cooler, an buy some 1-2 knickers an put them over her nappy under her shorts an they will keep it up with no vest. an buy the reusable swim pants cost 5 pounds save a fortune. ye will have a great time good luck.
just give her bottled water and if you get drinks from a bar, restaurant dont have ice it will be tap water, and food wise dont use any of the sauces or relshes that are just in bowles , make sure they are in bottles with lids as if not they would have had god knows how many flies land on them!

make sure she drinks loads of bottled water to keep her hydrated. its difficult taking a youngster abroad i took mine to greece when he was four months old.
have fun and keep her safe
Hi Shergar, giving your baby bottled water would probably be the safest thing to do if you want your mind to be at rest on your holiday.
I know that it sounds silly, but pack an Ice cube tray and freeze the bottled water as well. I know a lot of people that have had ice on holiday and forgotten that it was water once.
Cartons of juice are also fine.
Hope you have a lovely time, take care
Lou.
