Does anyone else get annoyed by 'Baby On Board' stickers?

I know they were invented for a useful reason, indicating to fire crews that there is a child on board in case of an accident, but now people leave them in all the time. Pointless.
And now there are ones that say 'Back off, baby on board'. Are they assuming I'm a reckless driver and will listen to their preaching?
Seems to me me they just want to boast about about their family fertility and general superiority.
Sorry, but they're tossers.

It distinguishes the targets from the non-targets, right?

Ouch, I feel a violation coming on.

EDIT: you know what annoys me more? When I am walking in a busy shopping street and some broad with an extra ultra extended babycarrier on wheels won't budge just because SHE got knocked up and pooped out a baby.
"I'm walking here with a baby!"
That's what they tell you when you try to move past them without budging.
"You should have used a condom then, you wouldn't have that problem." is my standard reply.
silly old fart- driving does me
yeah , I used to pay attention to them all the time, but now , you see nearly everyone with them , and theres no babies in the car ,

I also think there not that good, because you have to be right up behind them anyways to actually see the sticker, so its going to help , if someone was coming towards them doing a burnout or something.
nope.. i rekon there funy
I guess you don't have children!! Once you have them you might change your mind on the subject
I can't believe some of these answers like the person that says they would drive more aggressively, really ,come on how would you feel, if you got into an accident and killed a baby! Think before giving a totally stupid answer!
btw I do have a baby and no sticker
They were a lot more prevalent in the late '80s.

It was when yuppies suddenly decided that their babies were more important - after they had been working to make sure that poor people were aborting their babies.
Yup.
if i ever decide to go crazy driving those are the first cars i plan on hitting.
My friend almost bought one at Walmart yesterday and I wanted to throw up! How embarrassing!
What gets me is the driver has a baby on board and they still drive like a plonker!
I think it's more concern than anything. I mean, ya, any parent is proud of their kids. but we all need to be reminded that it's not just our lives we're risking if we drive recklessly. it's not worth it to try to get where you're going 2 minutes earlier.
Yes I fooking hate them, and like no1 takes notice of them anyway so whats the point on making ya wheels look silly for nowt!!
who cares? What harm is it doing to you? If they want to put stickers on the back of their car, let them. Personally, I hate all the stupid christian bumper stickers and crap like that more than the baby ones, but I don't whine about it.

Do you have some kind of inferiority complex because you're infertile? I mean, what's the deal here? It's a pretty stupid thing to complain about.
I've got a baby, and i don't have one of those stickers, and I still drive like a hoon.
I heard a long time ago that you shouldn't post them because a kidnapper may be interested.
I don't mind as long as its not used as an excuse for bad driving. I've experienced it a couple of times where people have excused bad driving by pointing to the sticker. I can only assume that the baby is driving
Yeah.I mean..so what? It's not going to change my driving...and I also hate those "pregnant woman" on board..and we can always tell if its "old slow driver on board"..I tend to be behind them MOST of the time! lol

Maybe they should get me a sign.."PMT cop on board"!! lol
I saw another one yesterday morning and I was wondering the same thing.
Although I'm not getting annoyed by the stickers. I just get aggressive. If I would have had another car, I would non-accidentally run them over.
Unfortunately I have the smallest car in the universe. So I just stick to their bumper, hoping they see me and see how scary I look.
The only time they seem to be any good is in a car park. People tend to give you more access if you have one!
Why do you take it so personally? I don't use mine as a boast of fertility, my son does that perfectly well enough on his own!
And no, I don't consider myself to be Superior!
Tossers? You sure?
people still have those on their vehicles? i haven't seen one in a while.
No, I disagree. I have kids but do not have a baby on board sticker, even though I have 2 under 2years old. Think they're far more appropriate than stickers of "babe on board" with some middle aged tart driving..also more appropriate than stupid jokes..or even worse..the symbol of Christianity, who gives a **** if a christian is on board..knowing a child is on board the car in front would make me watch my speed..a christian wouldn't (and before anyone has a go) I'm a Christian too ..apparently.
I agree with Paul B a woman in a pepole carrier came out of a junction were she should have given way and looked at me as if I was in the wrong I ended up having to swerve on to the wrong side of the road to avoid her I was very lucky no one was coming the other way yeah and you guessed it when I looked in my mirror she had a baby on board sticker in her rear window what a tosser!.
yeh i know what u mean. u being a fireman (well i pressume u r by your aviator!) and all that would help in an emergency but on the other hand the others are right, everyone has them, the world and his wife so its a waste of time - even when the kids arent in the car.
hey do you have kids? maybe no. Well i have 3 and i don't have a baby on board sign as they don't do a thing for us!! If the person behind the steering wheel can drive there should be no problem. But saying that when my children were babies i did have one. Just another thought, so you have a sticker on your car/truck like save the dolphins or something or baseball/football teams you support? Cause if you think about it they are the same whatever literature are on the sticker it is still warning or trying to get your attention of something. So think about it!!
cheesiest thing since cheese!
Our next door neighbours have a baby on board sticker but no baby, well they are Liverpool supporters, we have a baby and no baby on board sticker.
yes , they are riduiculous. All drivers should still treat all passing cars with same care regardless there is a baby or not. You are right about it's usefulness but many just leave it on and poor firemen having to find a 'missing' baby when it's at home or grown up now! There are new signs bore out of this, making light of things which is funny but it also undermime our safety/seriousness at the same time. It is sad that most people boast about their children. it means they have nothing better to do with their lives!
"Babe on board" annoys me even more!!
They are ridiculous. I haven't got one and I'm perfectly happy that little Miss Eck is as safe as can be without one. Frankly, if my car is so mashed up that the fire crew need a sign to tell them there should be a baby on board, then she's not going to be alive to save.

The most ridiculous one I've seen was "Mum to be on board", best one was "ex-husband in boot"
what harm are the drivers doing?
*** hole.

They are saying back off or messaging rescue services.

Your attitude indicates you are likly to be a reckless driver who does not give a toss about others
they want to make me want to puke i used to watch out for them because my driving teachers said that they are important now i think they are a load of ****!!!!!!
