Periods after miscarriage?
Answers:
It is quite normal for your period not to return right after a miscarriage. It takes time for HCG levels to decline, and for the body to begin ovulating again. Without ovulation, you will not be stimulated to have a period. It is quite normal not to have a period for a couple months following a miscarriage. I would; however, seek out your doctor about the discomfort you are feeling. It is possible you have retained some of the pregnancy and are acquiring an infection. This can affect your future fertility, so please see your doctor to be sure you do not require a D & C or antibiotics.
i'm sorry about your miscarriage, your periods will be quite messed up at the moment so try not to worry, your get your period soon and they will become regular again. if your worried or need to talk to someone go to your doctor x
OOPS maybe another bun in the oven I hemoraged 9 weeks after loosing a child
Stress of losing a child can upset the natural order of our bodies. Just relax and try not to worry about missed periods unless you are in a lot of pain. Then you should consult your doctor. I am sorry for your loss.
you need to see your doctor. I suffered a miscarriage in January and my periods went straight back to normal but this was due to good medical care.
Really sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I know what you must feel like as I've had two myself.
As a general they say your first period is usually after about six weeks, so youv'e been having pains for about a week and miscarried about a month ago. Did you have a DNC or did you miscarry naturally, some times with a DNC you can get an infection which does feel like period pains. Did you have a scan afterwards to make sure everything is clear. I really think that the best thing for you to do is to go see your doctor, they will be able to advise you and check you over to see whats wrong.
Good luck for the future and may you be blessed with a baby soonx
Sorry t hear bout that, your stress levels do rise when you miscarry, and making your menstrual cycle a bit unpredictable so dont worry itll get back to normal within the next couple of months. See your g.p aswell to be reassured, good luck :)
