2 weeks paided leave in uk
depends on your companies policies. however, under FMLA they have to hold your job for 12 weeks.

There is some rule coming in allowing you to share your leave with maternity leave, but the total amount will be the same.

Maternity leave in the US, I think, is 6-8 weeks, but paternity leave, I don't know. Go to the Department of Labor in your state and see what the LAWS are. Now, when it comes to your company, I think that is going to depend on their policies. Check with the human resource department.
the family medical leave act provides for 12 weeks of unpaid leave from your job. You can return at the end of this period and still have an equitable job. This does not mean the same shift or department. This means the same pay or duties.
my boss who has recently become a daddy got two weeks (he works in nhs so dont know if it is the same for everyone)
12 weeks job protection under FMLA. Just job protection, if there is any $$$ associated with it has to do with individual company policies
In the UK it is currently 2 weeks. This is for definite. Your company however may offer you a bit extra depending on company policy, however the minimum legal entitlement is 2 weeks.
for men in the uk its two weeks, Im not sure about other countries- if your boss is cool you might be able to take holiday on top of the paternity leave.I was lucky, my bloke got sacked the day i went into labour so I had loadsa time with him(hope you can sense my sarcasm)
