I have the same pills and I was never told to teke three packs in a row just one at a time and then 7 days off to have my period you proberbly just have cramps as I get them still, its highly unlikly you are pregnant. Also you may have something like irratable bowl syndrom try eating granery bread that asways helps me .

You should not be taking them like that! It should be one pack at a time. then break for seven days. You really need to go and get a test done now so if you are then you can stop the pill but if not then to continue using them. Your body has alot of adjusting to do when you start the pill. If you take them everyday and only on the 18th day, and had unprotected sex only a week ago its probably your body adjusting. Better to be safe than sorry get a test..TODAY..
why the hell do you take three packs at a time. i was on that pill for years and had a pack at a time then a week off.. it can't be good for your body taken that much surely.
go and see your doctor immediatly with a urine sample and check if your not preggers and if you should be taking that many pills.
also i had unprotected sex all the time on that pill all the time with my boyfriend and never got pregnant so i doubt you will be pregnant, but for peace of mind get checked out?

First of all this is your body adjusting to the pill. I was on it for 3 weeks and then came off it. I was a ***** to live with, it made me sooo mooooody. I went back on it a year later, thinking surely it must have all been in my head, but again the same thing happened. I was tired also. Never went on it again and I do not intend to either. So it is the adjusment you are going through now. The pill starts working after 7 days so the fact that you were on the 18th tablet means you are not pregnant. It was around the same time I started feeling yucky too.
However the bit I do not understand is why you intend to take 3 packs in a row and then have 7 days off. You should have a pack then leave it for 7 days and then go on the next pack, 21 days later have another week off etc. Not 3 months in a row. Apparently it won't do you any harm, but that's not how Microgynon should be taken.

I take Microgynon 30 as well. First thing you should know is the pill which ever one you take is never 100%. There are so many factors that can stop the pill from working properly. For example getting over a cold, a dodgy tummy.. My sister got pregnant while she was on the pill. for her it was because she was getting over a bad cold.
So in answer to your question yes there is a chance you could be pregnant. Try doing an early pregnancy test or go and speak to your doctor and see what they say.

So what you mean is you take 3 complete packs without a break then have a 7 day break to have a period and start again? If i am right then you shouldnt be pregnant, you get a 9 hour window to take your pill so 1 hour wont make a difference and everyone on the pill has this 7 day break. I think it could be just all the hormones taking its toll, i did this 3 month without a period like you a few years ago and felt dreadful! was bloated and felt sick. Anyways whatever anyone says on here you wont relax until you know for sure so go get a test, the stores own brands are just as good (i should know i have used enough of them!) they use the same stuff but are less pricey. Maybe you should try two packs and have a period, see if that works and if not see what else your doc can prescribe for your painful periods. Good luck xx
im on the same pill for the same reason and i as told you can take 3 in a row but not to keep doing it. i did it for a while but my periods went all funny and came then i was kakeing them, but now i take them normaly (1 pack then a break) and my pain is either slight or non at all.
get a pregancy test. the pill is not 100% effective,
my mum was on the pill when she fell pregnant with me and she never missed one and haddent been ill.
and i was born with a duplex kidney (i had 3 kidnies one on one side two joined togher) and the doctor thinks that was because my mum was on the pill and finished the pack befor she found out she was pregnant.
also my friends brother was consived on the pill

I fell pregnant using this pill.get it checked out and ask about the depo provera injection. No periods while you use it and an injection once every 11/12 weeks. You can only get pregnant if you dont get jabbed. its a godsend for problem periods.

If your pill is the same mine then no you are not pregnant. I take the pop pill as I was breastfeeding when I started to take the pill. Is your pill combined or prostogene only? It could be that you have got a back up of blood and the blood is that old when you do bleed it will be black, smelly and full of clots. Sorry about the description but it is the only way to explain what could be happening to your body. Get checked out anyway to give yourself a piece of mind.
