Whats the best gift u can give to a mum and her newborn?

Answers:
Diapers, they are a great start!
Diapers and wipes - you can never have enough!
A ticket for one to the seychelles.
Shark hunting lessons !
Yup! Diapers and anything that the baby will use, or get a painting made of the baby, she will cherish it forever.
nappies/wipes/vests/nappy bags anything practical, to you it may seem boring, but to them it is a godsend!!
An hour of your time, to look after the baby while Mum is having a nap. It's all I wanted from people when I was a new Mum, and, sadly, the one thing I never got!
ear plugs for her and dummy for baby
It all depends...
How much can you spend?
How about a college education? Too much?
Ok, how about a full nursery? Too much?
Ok, how about a crib, or changing table?
Or as many disposable diapers as you can afford? That is gonna be a big expense for Mom for a long time to come.
baby early years record books, were the mum can write all about the baby, you can buy them from any book shop like WHS.its the best gift you can ever give,
a card telling her youll be there when ever she needed you
a Douala for 2 weeks and a gift certificate to a massage
A basket filled with lots of little things for both of them. Nappies, baby wipes, talc, baby bath, bibs etc.
For the mum, some nice lotions and potions. Breast pads!
vouchers or baby wipes etc.i am expecting next month and have asked everyone for vouchers as the baby grows out of clothes so fast.massage oil and pampering things would be nice for the mother or a hairdressers voucher.
If you can afford it give two gifts - one for the baby like a clothes set or toy.

The second should be something specifically for the mum to pamper herself like some nice luxurious toiletries or similar.

My sister got some great gifts for the baby, but really appreciated some of the small things meant for her.

People forget the woman gets stressed and messed about during the birth - get her something to make her feel special
The best gift for a mom and baby is a BOPPY. Anyone who has ever had one will swear by them. They are great for the newborns to use as a tummy pillow, and for learning to sit up. Mom can use it for extra cushioning under her tush on less than comfortable seating to releve pressure points.

Diapers are always good, but be sure to check with mom to see what works for baby.

A coupon for 2 hours of baby sitting will do the trick. It will give mom some time to relax and take some time for herself. And you can do it right in the house, so baby will be closeby if mom really doesn't want to go too far away.
We enjoyed gift from a friend who delivered a hot home-cooked meal from appetizers through dessert right at dinnertime - with lots of leftovers!
I appreciated meaningfull gifts! Honestly my favorite gift that I still have to this day was a keepsake for baby footprints!
Any thing is great but What I loved most after having the baby, was not material, Yes having a baby is wonderful, but often the mother just becomes MOM and she is human too remember that paying attention to Mom, and give her your time and an ear to listen. If all else fails just ask what she needs or wants.
diapers and lots of them! and some ear plugs! lol seriously, she will need diapers, bottles, 1zies, formula, toys, and blankets.
yeah, diapers are nice and expensive for moms but I prefer to get things that I wouldn't buy for myself or for the baby. A really cute (but too pricey for me to buy with all the other crap you have to buy) outfit for the baby would be great for example. Or, as was said before, watch the baby for a little bit so mom can take a nap.
having been a nanny for many years and seen how exhausted new mums are-especially if she already has other children-I would say a few hours of your time so she can have a rest/go for a walk/get a facial or just do nothing would be apprecitated more than most things money can buy.
LOVE xx
pampers they will need them
Coupons good for your babysitting services or some homemade meals. I sure as heck don't want any diapers or wipes. I have plenty of those.
Gift vouchers to a place like Boots or Mothercare. That way the mother can get whatever she wants/needs.
a few hours of your time so mom can have a break .to nap, get her toes done etc...
A voucher to a spa so she can pamper herself without hearing whining all day long.
a nap for the mom - and a lot of love for the baby!
How about a Gro-bag?

A Gro-bag is a baby sleeping bags that are safe and don't allow the baby to over-heat or get too cold.

The baby can't suffocate because it can't get under the covers and it can't kick the sheets off and so bawl the place down because it's too cold!

Lots of Mums haven't heard of them so you'll be introducing her to something she will appreciate every night - restful, worry free sleep!

It also feels like a lovely gift, doesn't break the bank (they start at £10) is personal and so useful.

My baby boy (18mths) is still sleeping in one and finds it comforting- especially when away from home - we've never used all the sheets we bought!

You can get the original, branded versions below - or try Dunelm, TK Max, Mothercare and other baby suppliers
loads of people will be giving the baby presents,so the baby will have more than enough, give the mum somethin even if its only somethin small..i got a bottle of perfume of my brother after havin my baby girl..thats my most memorable present
