Have anyone had a baby with club foot and how are they now?

My daughter was born that way. She wore a cast for about 6 months, which they had to keep changing because of her growth. Then she had to wear corrective shoes for about 3 years. She could only take the shoe off for baths, she had to wear it to bed. Then we had special plates made that inserted into her shoes. This all took about 5 years. She is now 20 and walks like a beauty queen! All she remembers is the plates in her shoes.
My cousin had a club foot when he was born, but with wearing a brace his first year of lif,e it has straightened itself out now..
My brother had club feet and they had to make special shoes for him to wear (this was back in 1977). He is perfectly fine now and actually competes in professional rodeos. I can only imagine the products they have now to correct the club feet. My brother is 29 now. Good luck and congrats!

My son was born with two club feet. He was lying sideways in the womb, and I either had to lie applying pressure to his head or his feet! His condition wasn't too serious, and I was told that it would right itself before he was walking. He was a late walker (16 months) and I was concerned that this was because of his feet. However, he's now 8 and completely unaffected by his early problems.
Some guy at work had a son with club foot. He had to wear brace/cast or something, but all is well now. When they are young, their bones are soft, it is very easy to correct.
My son is now almost twelve and was born with a club foot. He has no problems at all now. We were warned his left leg may be thinner than his right one but they is no noticable difference and unless you knew he had a problem you will never know. He is happy an healthy.
My son is 18 months and was born with severe club feet. He was in casts for the first six months and then got surgery. This corrected most of the problem but he still needs another surgery in about a year. Hopefully after that it will be fixed. They would have done the second surgery earlier but they said he wouldn't walk till he was about 2 and he has been walking for the last 5 months.
My baby was born with two club feet and this was 24 years ago. I was shown how to massage her feet by a pysiotherapist and ever time I changed her and played with her I did this. Her feet are perfect and she walked at the time she was supposed too.
My cousin has a club foot he is 24 years old. He is fine. he played basketball and football. He had some problems but nothing major. Him and his wife just had a baby boy and he does not have it.
my nephew, 20 year old now, was born with this, and with 12 toes! he's had about 24 op's and the last 2 were the only ones that did any good. he had an ilizarov fixator on both of his legs which did the trick, he had this done when he was 9 and 11, it looks bad but does the trick. good luck x
My nephew was born with a club foot he is absolutely fine now,it too some time but he seems to be completely unaffected by it.
