Would this effect my fertility?

i was on the pill for 2 years and came off in june as me and my partner want to have a baby the only thing is when i took the pill i often ran to packs a time as i hated having periods

Answers:
No, I was on the pill for 9 years, as soon as I came off them I became pregnant! If they affected your fertility company's wouldn't make them and doctors wouldn't prescribe them
No, but sometimes it can take up to a year to conceive after stopping the pill (it did with me anyway) You shouldn't really avoid having your period when on the pill. It is ok occasionally - like if you are going on your hols - but not more than that.
I can't see that affecting your fertility too much, you might want to check with a family planning clinic first tho. I know plenty of people who run two packs together but I wouldn't make a serious habit of it.
Best of luck for the future.
they advise if you have been on the pill for a while (2 years isnt that long tho) that you should have about three normal cycles before you try to conceive as this gives ur body chance to get back into a normal routine! but you can get pregnant before that?
Shouldn't make any difference as the periods you have on the Pill are not 'proper' ones anyway. Everyone's body takes differing amounts of time to get back to normal so don't worry, just enjoy the trying!
It may do, you have to go to your doctor to tell him this and they will test you. I hope for yoursake it hasnt harmed you in anyway, Goodluck. x
just keep doing the dirty deed..and before you know it there will be champagne corks popping..and cigars being handed out.good luck
pills are not 100% save . so you have a less than 100% chance to conceive
yes it could you should really follow the directions on things like that real important
I used to do that all the time. And I have a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Don't worry, it doesn't happen straight away, but have fun trying. You should only start to be concerned if you have been trying for well ver a year. And even then, there may not be anything wrng xx
Some doctors actually recomend that you do what you say you did. Mine did anyway. Companies are even making new types of pills that have you on the active pills for three months with no period. It will not affect your fertility.
Probably not. It may take your body a couple of months to start ovulating again. With me I never did have a regular period before and after I stopped the pill I didn't have one after. But if you were fine before I"m sure it would not effect your fertility.

Best of luck.
no it won't affect your fertility but sometimes it takes your body a while to return to normal, usually 2-3 months, but can take over a year. have fun trying and good luck x
