TTC And Alcohol ?

Hi everyone
I am 9 days post ovulation and did a preg test yesterday which was neg so i went out last night and had quite a few to drink and am now worrying if it was too early to test and would the alchol harm the fetus ? i have got a dip in my chart yesterday and the day before so could be implantation dip ? Would it harm the fetus if it has only just implanted ?

Answers:
No even after implantation it is still some time until the foetus shares your blood.

I think it is after the placenta starts around week 4 (since LMP, week two since conception) but for some reason week 6 is ringing out as the right answer but I can't find it in wiki and I don't know where else to look.
babies are tuff.
yes
i dont think it would of hurt anything. i guess! :)
do what u want to do ok! :)
no i dont think it would harm the foetus as its so early and besides ur main worry should b getting to the doctors and finding out if ur really pregnant as u may b worrying over nothing, im in same situation though as i got really drunk last weekend and im late on my period so im off to doctors tommorrow so i hope things work out okay 4 u. let us know.
good luck
xx
The chances are very slim that it would harm the baby at all. If it just implanted its not even bigger that a pin tip needle. Don't worry and if you are pregnant, CONGRATS!
It's not wise to drink large quantities of alcohol at any stage of pregnancy but, as someone already said, babies are tough. They get born under every kind of circumstance. Try not to worry as you've done it now (had a drink) anyway. If you are pregnant just be sensible about your alcohol intake from now on (or best not to drink at all really) and I bet you'll be fine. Good luck.
I WOULD CUT BACK ON THE DRINKING IF YOU ARE TRYING TO HAVE A CHILD
YOU SHOULDNT BE DRINKING IF YOU ARE TTC. IT SHOULDNT HARM THE BABY IF YOU ARE THAT EARLY
GOOD LUCK
try not to drink if you are ttc!!!!!!!!!
If you thought you might be, or if you are trying to get pregnant, you should not be drugging, drinking, or smoking.
9 days post ovulation is quite early to get an accurate pregnancy test result. You really need to wait until the day your period is due. It is unlikely that one night of drinking would harm the baby, but I definitley wouldn't recommend doing it again!

Are you taking pre-natal vitamins? This is a great way to help the development of your child and give you a bit more energy too!
We had only just moved into our house and a couple of weeks later i found out i was 6 weeks pregnant!

We had our housewarming party and BBQ's and i had drunk quite heavy on these occasions and my son was a perfectly healthy 7lb 5oz bouncing baby boy born on his due date!

Just take it easy from now on and i wouldnt worry!

Good Luck xxx
