That's something you'll have to ask the nursery school.
I think they usually do have to be potty trained completely in order to start nursery school, but ask them to make sure
Where I live they expect a child to be fully potty changed by their 3rd birthday. Both my children were about 3yrs old and at 4 yrs old during nighttime. Good luck!
It is up to the individual nursery. I work in a pre-school with 2 and a half to four year olds. We take on children that are potty trained and children still in nappies, or children that are going through potty training.
We were also informed by OFSTED that it is discrimination to prevent a child attending because of their toileting habits.Weather in nappies, or not.
Hope this helps!
That varies school to school. I lucked out and found one that'll work with my son on potty training. However, I have friends whos kids had to be completely potty trained
don't know about requiring potty training for preschool but do know how to quickly and effectively potty train in ONE DAY! I did it with all my three kids. If your little one can identify his nose, eyes, mouth, etc. on his face and dresses themselves - he can be trained in one day. However, you are totally potty focused the whole day. First thing is the morning put training underwear on - give them lots of fluids and have treats in plenty for when they go on potty, Every half hour put kidlet on potty for about 15 min. make it a positve experience - read books while they sit there. Do this all day and then reward kidlet with treat when potty is used. Bed time, still kept them in undies with plastic protector or soaker mat underneath them. Second day, did a review with kidlet and we were off. Maybe a few accidents that second day just because kidlet doesn't have judgement to get to potty fast enough - but that was it. I did it with all three kids and it worked. Good luck.
that depends
Every nursery is different. You will need to ask. They needed to be out nappies at the one my kids went to but they got help with wiping bottoms when needed.
depends on what type of nursery it is. Is a day nursery or a nursery witihin a school?
I have worked in both
xx
It depends on the nursery most don't have a problem if you take spare cloths and they are having accidents its the Nappie changing some wont do.
in may nurseries and other daycare place they do require kids to be potty trained in order to attend their facility
no he does not have to be fully potty trained as long as you take spare clothes in a bag and once he gets use to it and is able to go on his own then you don't have to take the clothes he may have an accident somtimes but he will grow out of it.
