As a Prenatal Massage Therapist working from home, how could I give the perfect massage experience?
Answers:
I AM A MASSAGE THREAPIST ALSO AND IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON WHO IS PREGNANT, AT THE TME WHAT THEY LIKED BEFORE MAY FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE NOW, SO CHANGE THE PRESSURE OF WORK ON A DIFFERENT AREA.
You could try putting on relaxing new age music like the Maiden of Mysteries album from the Taliesin Orchestra.
no idea
Pregnant women hurt in different areas. Usually if anything is sore its the muscles between my shoulders and head and my lower back. For my husband, he gets stress in his middle back. So its different for each person, irregardless of pregnancy. I'd say just do the massage you normally would and ask if there is an area they want you to pay more attention to.
I had a massage when I was pregnant, it was fab.
Just ask her what she would like, what position she is comfortable in, dim the lighting, soft relaxing music etc. Also as its in your home, make sure your husband/kids dont walk in, as she will be feeling quite exposed and vulnerable.
Also make sure you show them your professional qualifications, they may be worried that the massge and massage oils are going to harm the baby, so you need to reasure them before you start.
My masseuse did all the above, it was wonderfully relaxing.
