Urinal in School?

My little boy started nursery last month, but he is still confused () because he doesnt know how to use the urinal properly. Yesterday he came home wet as he had tried to hold himself, I dont know how to help him (we live on our own), I've told him to go into the cubical but he refuses as he wants to be a 'big boy'.
Can anyone offer any advice or links to a good website on how to teach him to use one?
Lots of love.

you need to teach him how to use the toliet standing up not sitting down and tell him to hold it softly and point it in the toilet as best he can i remember with my little boy its so difficult for them at that age im afraid that practice makes perfect and he will get it in the end just make sure that every time he uses the toilet you help him and before you know it he will be fine
Practice in the house with him standing at the tiolet. Its the only way, plus his boaby will be tiny so he might have to pull it a bit to help it reach
^^ his "boaby"? It's called a penis, no matter the size.

Help him pee in the toilet at home standing. Or find a male (assuming you don't have a penis of your own) to demonstrate "proper form" to your son.
Urinals are stupid things for a small boy to use of course he is going to wet himself, tell him to use the loo. Or if he insists get a male to show him how to do it at home in the toilet or against a tree for practice.
dito to the last answer.
info please.com and peter potty urinal
if you have a guy friend ask him to help good luck ohh get the little targets you put in the tolet for him to aim
A ping pong ball in the loo at home might help to encourage his aiming technique! Making a game out of it might help till he's got it sussed. Never tried it with my boys but read about it (the ping pong will not flush away so it says!) Don't worry about trying to get a male role model to show him. All you need to do is show him how to hold it out himself and a wee shake and bob's your uncle! At the end of the day, it's been you that's trained him so far, so I am sure the next step will be very easy. If he can pee into your toilet at home then he can pee into a urinal.
don't make it in to a big thing at first make it in to a game explain mummy's sit down and big boys stand up if he can let you know he needs to go do it with hI'm and tell the nursery what is going on and they can spend more time with him im a single mum myself and i had the same problem it takes time and doesn't happen over night as long as he has spare cloths in his bag it doesn't matter how many accidents he has you just have to say o dear never mind.
Cheerios floating in the toilet make good, cheap targets. Put 3 in & if he can hit them, give him a prize.
I'm going through the same problem with my 3 and 1/2 yr old at preschool, you are not alone. try putting cherrios, fruit loops, applejacksin the toilet, which will float and tell him to put the fire out.
keep practicing when going to the bathroom. i dont have experience my sonis not even 2 yet.i have to look forward to this :) keep practicing.. he will learn and when he uses it right praise him.
aww hun its perfectly natural for him!
he shouldnt have to use the urinal!
you teach him how to use the toilet first and as he gets bigger then he will know how to use a urinal!
and u dun have to teach him! his male mates will!
i know you think they are only young but ull be suprised what they learn off each other!!
best of luck x
you must help him and practice at home. tell him to hold with two hands and aim for the middle. make sure he knows aim is very important. Not too hard. GODD LUCK!
let him practice at home he;ll learn . this is the least problem you;ll have wiith a son
