What time do your children (6 - 10 years) go to bed?

Answers:
I have 5 kids and they are all in their beds by 9 o-clock. I think it is important for the parents to get to spend some time relaxing also or you just end up with very stressed out parents
Probably between 7-8 pm
eight o'clock
3am
7.30 i find that if i dont send himthen i pay for it th next day cause he is a crab
It used to be (some years ago now) 7.30pm on the dot. They need a good sleep with school the next morning etc.
My son is 6 and he is in bed by 8pm and by the time stories are done he is usually asleep by 830.
when they r feeling so,since when they r tired they immediately rush towards bed, setting time for children is just spoiling their childhood, they must be left free for their better growth
Usually between 8 and 9
Ten o'clok.it's late.
It depends on whether it's summer or during the school year. If they don't have to get up early in the morning it doesn't hurt to let them stay up till around 10 p.m. if they are being good. During the school year I think it's best if they are in bed by 8 p.m. and have had their story read by 8:30.
Around 8 in the morning, of course they don't listen to me (grin)

Seriously, when my child was that age, she went to bed at 8 pm. Now she goes to sleep at 8 a.m. at age 20. Don't ask, just don't freaking ask.
Bath at 7pm, bed by 7.30 for stories etc.asleep by 8pm. I got away with it with youngest until he was 10. Now my 16year old has his own timetable but youngest is 12 and is still in bed by 9.pm asleep by 9.30. Weekends however have their own agenda.
I lodge with a lady who has a ten year old daughter and she usually goes to bed between eight and half eight. Weekend nights she's allowed to stay up.
my son is 10 and goes to bed at 8.45 and it increases each birthday by 15 mins, so he still gets enough sleep.
My sister (who is 9) goes to bed at 8.00pm
At ages 6-9 it was between 8:30-9PM and then once age 10 was reached, it was 9:30.
Depends school night 9 no school my rule is you go to bed when you start gettin on my nerves. Generally that means they are getting cranky!!
about 8 'o clock
im 43 yr mom, my daughter is 16yr now.
but at that age I had a bedtime at 9pm every night, no ifs, ands. or buts.
stick to your rule of bedtime, you are the parent, dont let them take control, you keep control of them. they wont like it at first but keep it up and eventually it will work out.

saw this on tv's nanny 911 and supernanny.
my mom had 8 kids and we had to be in bed by 9pm: homework done by 7pm; bath taken and teeth brushed by 8 or 8 30pm. this was our routine my parents set, and we obeyed or we got scolded and things taken away.(which we didnt like).

do this and it will work. remember you are the parent dont let them yell at you ;punish them.
i have a 14 year old now but when he was that age 8.30 in bed and 9.00 lights out.
school night 9:00-9:30 weekend or summer 11:30-12:30
I send my son to bed at 8 and he watches a film or plays in his room, so goes to sleep between 9.30 and 10. my son does not need a lot of sleep, as long as he gets up before i have to wake him up, i know he is getting enough. all children are different, it depends on the activites they have during the day and stuff, i do think they need a routine though and need to know what time is bed time.
I haven't children but I think that it's better if children go to bed before 10pm.
7-7.30pm
Good heavens.if I had put my kids to bed at 7:00 or 7:30 p.m. at that age, they'd have been up at 4 a.m.

My older son (now 13) thought he should be able to stay up later than the younger son (now 9), but at those ages their sleep needs sort of flip-flopped..the oldest sleeps FAR more than the youngest.

Bedtime during the school year is 9 p.m. for both of them. In the summertime and on weekends bedtime is at 10 p.m. for the 9 year old. The 13 year old is to be in bed at 10.lights out at 10:30.
My daughter is 2 goes to bed at 8.30 but my son who is 6 goes to bed at 9-930 so can spend quality time with his dad. Also as a baby he never really slept for long, but my daughter was a good sleeper as a baby. So i say between 8 and 9 for 6 -7 yrs and 9and 10 for 8-10 yrs
9 PM
my 6 yr old goes at 8 and my 8 yr old goes at 8:30
for a 6 7:30 for a 8 years old 8:30 for a ten years old let them sleep at 10:00
during school time 7-8:30 and the summer around 10:00 any longer by the time school is back it would be harder to get them up right ?
