What was your pregnancy craving? Im 7 weeks pregnant and have a desire for mushy peas with tomato ketchup

Answers:
this happened to me..trough them all i had what the doc called sympathy pains, and i ate loads of fish(only like it now and again..not every day!)..no2 i craved french mustard..and i hate it,no3 it was coal..bit difficult to get when you live in a smokeless zone..on the 2nd one the sympathy pains were so bad i was rushed to hospital unconscious and they took my appendix out!it was ok but that's what they thought was the problem!our family doctor said he had never known anyone like me..Mrs hondanut(no longer with us) had cravings too..no1..prawn/shrimp sarnies(bit hard to find in the middle of winter at 3 am !)no2 it was white blackboard chalk(kept coming home to find more chalk in the larder than cans of baked beans) no3 it was chewing gum(she consumed too much on some days)..with the side effects meaning she spent a lot of time on the loo..however please be warned..there is a very high sugar content in tom sauce..and massive amounts of salt in mushy peas..so be careful please the colurs/artifical flavours thing was discovered with no2 and no3 (hyperactivity)if we had them wired to the national grid they could have produced enough power to light up london!lol but very very tiring for us!
I craved fruit with my first, chocolate with my second and hot wings with my third.
I had cravings for fresh fruit and orange and passionfruit juice.
Also Pretzels and starburst chews.
But I caught someone I know eating dirt when they were pregnant.
my first prgnancy it was slurpies and peanut m&m's, 2nd was apple juice and 3rd were chocolate bar and coke.

good luck
With my first I wanted steak which isn't so bad, but with this one I want a really cheesy pepperoni pizza smothered in saurkraut (drool)!
With my first son I craved mashed potatoes and brown gravy an salad (which I didn't really like before). With my last son I craved orange sherbet ice cream. I made My hubby go all over town to find it. Your craving sounds normal. Good Luck w/your pregnancy.

1st pregnancy I craved Pizza 24 hours a day-I would get my husband to buy them during the day and freeze some and keep some in the fridge so I had them all the time. The second pregnancy was hot fudge ice cream cake. I must have eaton about 100 of them. The tird pregnancy I had zero cravings-I kept waiting for it to happen, but nothing!
With my first . plums and cherries and neither were in season and I wasn't able to get them . my mother-in-law would haunt me saying that I shouldn't have these cravings because they would lead to the baby having red birthmarks . ol' whack that she is .
With my first I had to have fruit collatta from dunkin donuts with a cinnamon bagel with salmon spread , and with my last I had to have hotdogs lol
i craved any thing on the menu from the local chinese takeway!

people thought i was having twins lol
Ice cream & watermelon (not at the same time, though).
with the 1st it was porridge, the 2nd, smoked haddock (I barely had time to get it home and cook it) and the last it was sprouts with vinegar - none of which I like normally.
With my first bacon sarnies or frosties the frosties were unusual as i hate cereal!
With my second melons or Mac D's still orange my poor hubby was sometimes woken in the middle of the night to go to the local 24hr drive in because my cravings were so strong
My two now love what i craved with them!
I wanted peanut M&Ms and carrots with mustard
my first was cheese and pineapple on toast and a jug of fruit juice, ( was very thirsty). second was onions and anything spicey. Third was apple sauce and anything sweet.
The ONLY thing I could eat and keep down was tinned tomatoes!
With my first toasted marshmallows, but only for a few weeks.
with my second, third and fourth, ice,but with my fifth I craved, craved, craved, sirloin steak with tomato sauce mostly the fat, I used to buy pounds of it, once I sent my husband to the butchers and the butcher trimmed of the fat and I called him and my husband!! every name under the sun threw a real wobbler!! I used to cook it with chips, but after a few weeks I just just cooked the steak and slapped on the red sauce. this was for the full nine months even on Xmas day I had to have it.
mine was mud but i didnt want it from the garden i asked my b/f 2 get me a plant so i could eat around it.
mine was raw carrot sticks dipped in melted chocolate fudge sauce and sniffind bottles of bleach every time i went past a chemical isle i had to smeell all the cleaning prouducts i was there for at least an hour it was a night mare
I didn't crave anything to eat. I had to smell detol. Anything I cleaned was with detol and I would pour some on a cloth or tissue and sniff it. I was addicted. Soon as a had my son I couldn't care less if I had it or not.
