Find out first, then worry about it. I doubt if you were now, that it would do any harm to the fetus to work there, but you might want to consider changing jobs in the near future.
if you're pregnant, you shouldn't be in an environment where you'll be inhaling smoke . . and you shouldn't be in hectic, stressful situations . . . I would suggest finding a new job, if possible . . . for your sake, and your baby's! . . good luck!
yes it could affect the baby you could be carring around. and if you are preg.,congrats!
Yes the smoke and all could affect the possible baby, the baby starts to develop as soon as you conceive, the brain is developing rapidly among other things. If you are really concerned call a health care professional that you trust and ask their opinion!! Good Luck!
Anything your body is used to should be okay while you are pregnant, physically. You might be uncomfortable getting around when your belly leads you, but your baby will be fine. I don't know about the smoke, though.
Well I think the environment is no good but, people do smoke and have babies usually with low birth weight the sooner you find out the better so you can take some action on your career path for the next 9 months. It is important to get rest and keep your self healthy right from the start. I have been a bartender for 6 years however in Canada you can no longer smoke in public places so the job was not to difficult. I do recommend getting out of their if you can and want to have a healthy baby it sounds to smokey and heck tic as you said good luck to you
Firstly the second hand smoke is probably the biggest worry that you need to look out for. If you are employed by the nightclub, then they are legally required to carry out a risk assessment for you and they are legally responsible for your health and safety and that of your unborn child. If they deem your job too high risk (which it probably is) then they will need to either provide you with another role for the term of your pregnancy (maybe in the back office away from the smoke) or they can suspend you on full pay until the baby is born and your return to work.

Check the DTI web site in the UK, it's full of very useful and up to date information. i can't remember the site address, just google DTI and it should come up.
When you get pregnant, you're supposed to be able to do anything your body is used to doing. For example, if you are a waitress, you can still be a waitress, if you are a runner, you can still run. I worked in a warehouse while pregnant and still lifted boxes etc. because that's what my body was used to for several years. If you've always had a desk job, don't go out and work lifting 80 lb boxes for a living if you're pregnant! And, if you're not used to exercise, don't start off too rigorous right away. Since you've only been doing this job 3 weeks, your body may not be used to it yet. Have you ever had a strenuous job before? Or has your body been used to easier jobs? You should be ok, just ask your doctor. He should know and can give you more details. Good Luck!
My sister-in-law was waitressing when she got pregnant with her first, and the problem she had was nausea - the smell of the food etc. made her feel really sick, so she had to quit!
The first thing is not to panic until you know whether or not you are pregnant. It seems a bit early yet to be talking to people at work about it, since if you really can't know for 12 days you must have had sex sometime around the day before yesterday!

But if you're TRYING to get pregnant then yes, it would be good to get a different job. You certainly want to get away from the smoke. The rushing around isn't so much of an issue yet - lots of women are busy and don't know they're pregnant but go on to have perfectly healthy babies - but later on would quite possibly be both detrimental to the pregnancy and physically difficult for you.
id find out if your pregnant first, if you are then you should leave your bar job as the smoke and loud music can effect your unborn baby. you can find something more suitable and work up to a few weeks before your due date.
It is fine to work during pregnancy as long as your job isn't too labor intensive. I would definately find a new job where you aren't exposed to second hand smoke though. Not Good!
