My old boss was called Lorna and it sounds like a "hard" name, and Lauren is too, i dont know just not nive (sorry!)
Not Lorna - it reminds me of chubby old women that live in mobile home parks and wear one-size-fits-all polka dot cotton dresses.
Laura - it's okay - but seem to me that there are an awful lot of Lauras being called Lauries. aka - a large vehicle.
