How faint is still positive?!?
hey girls, did anyone get a REALLY faint positive and still were pregnant?

I don't know if this requires a "congratulations" or an "I'm sorry", but you're definitely pregnant.
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is the hormone responsible for a positive pregnancy test. Those test strips will not even show a faint line without the presence of hCG, which is only present in your urine if you're pregnant.
Time to set up a doctor's appointment. :)

yes i did and if you did your pregnant good luck with the baby they really are wonderful and worth it
Doesn't matter how faint the line is, it's a positive result. The only thing that can cause the colour change is the presence of the pregnancy hormone.

hiya darlin, yh it can work both ways, if its faint it can mean positive or negative you just have to wait a while and go back for another test! and remember use a mornin sample of urine cuz its stronger and gives a better result!
Yup. You'll want to re-test in a few days but sounds like you're pregnant. Any line- no matter how faint- means that the test is detecting the HCG hormone in your urine. Congratulations. :)
Yes I did! I bought a couple of tests after that one and all showed a very faint pink. Saying that, the test should be done in the morning and I did them in the afternoon and only when I was a day late.

A faint line is still a line! I'd say it's safe to say congrats!
Yep, mine was VERY faint.could barely see it.but ANY line, no matter how faint, is still positive! It should be much darker in a day or two if you want to be sure, but congrats! I also tested with another brand and it was a bit darker.
yep, unless you have a cyst or something else that's making your hormone levels raise other than a baby, those tests are only wrong when they say negative. They never say positive unless they detect something. My "faint line" is due in march!
100% you are pregnant, i called the help line, and i thought it was so faint that she'd say it was negative, she said it was possitive there should be no line whatsoever! not even a faint one!congratulations!

The pregnancy hormone strengthens in your body every day. If you pee on a stick in the morning the hormone shows up more strongly.

Most pregnancy tests pick up your HCg level between 25 and 50 HCGs. If your numbers are still on the lower end, then the result will be lighter, even very faint. If there is a colored tinge to it at all, you are pregnant. Vanishing lines are kind of like seeing a tiny line of saran wrap in the middle. It would be grayish with no pink at all. Congratulations!

With my current pregnancy I had to ask people if they saw the line too or I was crazy. It was so incredible faint. But still positive. What I did that day was went and bought a digital test too to see what those results were. They read pregnant. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant. Congrats!
