What kind of help could i get if i was pregnant but had no financial support to have a baby?
I don't want to have an abortion if i was, but what are the other options?
Answers:
Most areas have public health and womans centers for stuff like that. They usually pay for everything. Then there is programs like WIC program and Medicaid that pay for the babys food and medical.
go to a church or a pregnancy crisis centre in your area
Go on welfare, let us taxpayers take care of everything for you.
depends where you are in the world, most place support young mums.
The only other option is to go and stand in that good'ol county line and get you some food stamps and a monthly check like all the other women without jobs.
Micky D's is always hiring....
There are many state & local agencies that can help you. Each state is different though so the first place to start is by contacting your department of children & family services.
Depending on your age you'll get child tax credits and income support if not working. And no matter what you'll get child benefit. So you'll get help and there is also a £500 grant you can get if your not working to buy the things the baby will need. Hope that helps.
if you was pregnant, are you or aren't you,
firstly get a job and learn to support yourself before bringing a new life into the world
i suppose it depends a lot on your circumstances i worked full time before maternity leave which i am now on additional leave without pay and have a very low repayment mortgage so manage with child benefits and child tax credits i also get a subsidised council tax rate. listen though babe dont consider an abortion if its just because of money something will work out
get good contraception and the question becomes invalid.
Considering having a baby with no finance is no good for you or the baby
Grow up, earn a living, and establish yourself with someone fit to be a father first.
Ask politely on the web for help.If a lot of kind people donated just one pound surely that would help you and the baby,i'll give you 10 pounds to get things started.
medicaid.covers doctor appointments, sonograms and delivery and then takes care of the baby as an insurance til he or she is 21 years old..food stamps.for you of course...and go to your local W.I.C.office and apply they give you formula if you arent breast feeding and a pump for your breast if you are and clothes and diapers for your baby..you can get medicaid through your local human resources office..(call your court house to find it if you cant) and after you find the medicaid office if you cant find the W.I.C office they will be able to tell you.good luck
I was in kind of the same situation but do you live with your mother or family members? Here's what did/doing. I wasn't ready for a baby but i don't believe in abortions. So i kept my baby. I found out i was pregnant within the first 4 weeks, so i went a got a job before i started really showing. ( who wants to hire a pregnant girl?) I worked up until i was 7 months and save 80 % of each check. I was 18 at the time and was in my last months of high school, so i made sure i kept going to school. I went and got on WIC. I went and got on welfare. I had a baby shower and got soooooooo much stuff i didn't't really have to buy anything. After the baby came i sat back for awhile and collected disability and welfare plus the money i saved up. Then when my daughter was about 3 months i went to a trade school and let my mother watch her. That didn;t work out so i had to quit school. Now i let welfare pay for childcare and transportation and i back in school, A Community college and i work part-time. So welfare helping me until i can help myself. Just don't make it a long time thing just temporally.
If you are an illegal Mexican..don't worry !
