Can my 9 month old boy eat philedelphia soft cheese?
Answers:
When my daughter was that age, to increase her protein intake I started giving her a teaspoon of plain yogurt; which she loved. I gradually increased it over a period of time, and she was doing better due to having more protein in her diet. She was sleeping better, and seemed more content.
I would not recommend the phily cheese; due to their delicate digestion; too soon I think - but I am not a doctor so this is only a suggestion!
You could perhaps check with your doctor and see what he recommends.
Any form of dairy is not healthy for kids under 1 year of age. This would include cheeses, milk, and yogurt.
No answer yet hey! Why wouldn't your son be able to eat cheese? All food must be chewed soft on the onset, unless he is allergic to dairy food, check with your doctor if you are worried

The eating of soft cheese is not recommended until child is 12 months.
Look at this child nutrition site.

If your baby likes it then let him have it!!
I dont agree with all these stpid guidelines, let him taste lots of things and get his little tastebuds going..my baby was only a few months old and i used to dip her dummy in all sorts of foods and now she will eat or try anything!
You know what the rest of his diet is like so it you dont feel that there is not enough 'Gud foods' in his diet then dont give him it but if he is eating gud food aswell soft cheese is fine!!
Not at that age it's a bit too rich for him
