How often should i feel my baby move at 18 weeks?
I'm 18 weeks pregnant and somedays i feel my baby move and other days not at all. is this normal? Some days it feels like bubbles for most of the day. Some days it feels like a flickering sensation at the bottom of my abdomen. I only ever feel the flickering sensations after 7pm and sometimes a couple of times and sometimes lots. iS this all normal sensations?

Its all very normal! You will begin feeling baby move more regularly once you get further along! (Around 20 - 22 weeks) You should then be feeling it every day at least once!
totally normal some babies are more active than others in the womb,
its a great feeling, best of luch
it depends on how many times you have been pregnant, with my 1st i never felt him move till 20 weeks, you dont feel its alot til about then so dont worry, when you 30 weeks and its got a foot against your rib you wil wish it werent
yes its normal - your baby still has a lot of room to move around inside of you so some days he or she will be in a different position and you can feel it more, You dont seem to be going long without movements so I wouldnt worry. You say you only get the flickering sensations after 7pm - what time do you eat your evening meal at? and is the environment different at this time as opposed to during the day as apparantly they do hear the sounds around you. Its all normal just enjoy your pregancy - another few weeks and these movements will become more prominent when theres not as much room in there.

Hi becky . I would say this is normal. I having my 3rd baby im 21 weeks and i still dont feel my baby moving regularly. Y es the sensations you are feeling are normal. I only just started feeling my baby move at 19 weeks and only very faint i too was worried . Good luck with your pregnancy. xxx
i felt the samething when i was pregnant with our baby girl it is a great feeling. your dr will watch you and baby alot while you are pregnant.
yes it is but if you are really concerned suck on an ice lolly and believe me you will get kicks!
Yes it's normal. At this point you don't actually feel him/her every time they move. You probably feel her/him most after 7 because your winding down. You see, when you are up during the day your moving around so your rocking him/her to sleep. So when your holding still (like sleeping) it's time for him/her to wake up. So if you only feel him/her moving say 2 out of 5 times then it would make sense that you only feel him/her at this time of day. If you would like more info, please get a pregnancy week by week book!
