Would you allow your 15 year old daughter to take the contraceptive pill?
Answers:
If she was sexually active I would think that was better than her being knocked up (easy for me to say since I don't have one now).
Yes and I would anwser her questions about sex as honestly and accurately as well.
I may not approve of her being sexually active at that age but I would rather she be prepared.
As an option to getting pregnant - yes.
Yes.
No way!
I was age 15 on birth control pills and used condoms so I didn't get pregnant til we were ready. My first baby was at 18.
its up to u and making the right desicion
yes
my parents put me on bc when i was 15 or 16 i cant remember. but it wasnt because i was having sex. they did it for my acne. i've been on it ever since! but if can help it, stay off untill her cycle is normal.
yes i would..i know they shouldn't be doing anything in the first place but at least they can be responsible when they do
I would have her examed by a doctor first. Then I would put her on birth control and tell her about using protection as well. Get her tested for STDs yearly because you can't prevent her from having sex, but you can teach her about safety. I think that the parents own that part of the problem is getting their children tested.
If I had a daughter, yes I would put her on the pill.
Yes, it regulates her period and she will be prepared for when she is ready.
Yes because she is going to do what she wants either way.Would you rather who do it with you by her side or behind your back.
Its a tough question.while I don't want to think about my 15 yr old daughter having sex.I'd want her on the pill if she was.and make sure that she understands that even though she is on the pill.she still has to use condoms.
yes!!!Don't act all fundamentalist Christian.Let your daughter do the pill if she thinks she's gonna get pregnant.
yes my daughter is 15 and on bc. i dont want her to mess up her future.
i don't have kids.
Yes, I was on the pill at 14 yrs old
Only if you know for sure she is having sex. Pumping hormones into your system at such a young age isnt very healthy. But getting pregnant is a whole other story. But Id hope she wasnt having sex, at least until college.
No of course not it is not legal for one two she could still get clamidia or any other infection or at worst aids if she isn't prepared. Talk to her about using spermicide and a condom when she is a bit more mature to deal with the consequences.
As opposed to having a grandchild yeah. My mom didnt want me to have sex and when I asked for birth control she told me no just dont hav sex. I had my oldest child my senior year of high school. But now i'm married with 3 kids.
Absolutely. And I have been buying condoms for my son since he was 14. It is better to talk about it rather than ignore it. Because like it or not SEX happens.
If she is going to have sex anyway. and there is nothing I can say t stop her?.. yes I would I rather her to be safe. and avoid incidents.. and it is very probable that she is going to have sex even though you don't let her use the pill...
just give them the pills and don't ask. easy
no i think she is still to young ill tel her when she is 18 though
First, explain to her how a human baby is formed. Second, explain to her the goal is not to let the sperm reach to the egg.
Third, pick out the most appropriate method that is best for your daughter.
The key is not to let the sperm and the egg get together.
If I discovered that my 15 year old daughter was sexually active, I would take yer to my gynecologist and have my gynecologist examine her first to make sure that she is not pregnant, then either prescribe something for her or give her other birth control options to prevent her from becoming pregnant. However, if my 15 year old daughter was not sexually active yet, I would not take this step, but would develop an open and honest, trusting relationship with my daughter in the event that she will need to prevent pregnancy. Fifteen is much too young to have a child, much less without a father, particularly these days.
I've raised 3 girls, aged 24, 29 and 30, and I have one more to go aged 11.
Yes if she was sexually active. I would tell her to still use condoms but the pill would give you double protection from pregnancy.
1. The Pill is also used for medical conditions, not just "family planning" If a doctor recomended it to help control acne, or regulate menstration, Yes. I would
2. I would not be happy about a 15 year old being sexually active. But I would be even less happy about a pregnant 15 year old. I would work on clipping her wings, maybe even moving to another city to get her back under my thumb if thats what it took. But in the meanwhile, pill and condom it is.
Good luck- God bless.
I don't HAVE a 15 yr old daughter. I AM someones 15 year old daughter.
