How do I get stubborn stains out my 14month old daughters clothes? She is a very messy eater.?
Answers:
glad to know i'm not the only one with a daughter who eats like a little pig!- yesterday she had her face in the bowl of ravioli- I try to buy dark coloured clothes or put an old t shirt on her when she eats!- take a piccy of her - she'll be mortified when shes older!!
Vanish bar or Sodium Bicarbonate or Vinegar
Soak them in Oyiclean. It is really good.
Soaking them overnight before laundering often helps. It loosens the stains.
Oxiclean is good but just about any detergent rubbed directly onto the stain will help.
I always tried to buy very colorful, patterned clothes for my messy eater. That way, the stains blended in to the pattern and didn't stand out as much!
The only other alternative is to feed her foods that match the day's outfit!
easy....use any tide or things like oxy clean things like that should do the trick
Natures Miracle works wonders! You buy it at the pet store. They advertise it for pet stain and odor removal but it does work on all sorts of stains.blood, mud, grass, food. I've used it on just about everything.
Good luck!
Dilly Dall is right but an overnight soaking in same would be more advantagous
depends if there white I would just bleach them, but if its colored stuff i like to use peroxside! its so good it can even get blood stains out of clothes, a nurse told me about it once and it works really well
OXI
Best stain removing product I have ever come across. It can be used on household furniture, out-door furniture and clothes.
And it doesn't contain bleach at all.Removes grease staind, grass stains and so much MORE!

Try putting a bib on her when she eats.
For ones already stained there are a lot of enzyme-based presoak products like Shout and wash time products like Oxyclean.
If an item doesn't get clean put it in the next wash and repeat. Don't put it in the dryer or you will set the stain and it will be impossible to remove.
I guess it depends on what kind of stain it is. Sometimes when I get grease stains I use a little dishwashing soap on it before first before I put it in the washer. It helps.
I use Oxy Clean Baby, and I learned that even the biggest bib doesn't keep my daughter clean, so I strip her down to her nappy before meals. It's easier to clean her than her clothes.
Wash them in a good enzyme cleaner, or rub Goju orange hand cleaner on the spots.
Don't know any more about the ones already stained then what everyone else already said. I do suggest feeding her naked, or using a big bib for her. good luck.
Hi Emma. I have a 2 year old son who loves to wear most of his food and often comes home from day care with the paints and day's work all over him. Have you tried the product by Spray 'N Wash called "Dual Power"? It comes in a double bottle joined together. It has an "Oxy" side and a "Stain Combat" side that blend when you spray it on the area. Also, OxyClean has a new "laundry ball" that you just leave in the washer. The two combined have saved me a fortune in baby clothes. Good luck.and enjoy that angel.messes and all!
soak clothes in water immediately. use spay and wash before washing. don't dry clothes until the stain is out because it will set.
take her clothes off and feed her in her vest, i found this the best way to feed my kids when they were younger as they are cheap to replace, or use Vanish oxi mutli, this is very very good i use it all the time on my kids clothes as they are a lot older now, so they tend to come home in grass and bark stains, and vanish oxi multi is great on whites too, its even removed shoe polish from my sons school shirt...
good luck
Oxi-clean/hot water and some patience. may take a couple washings.
i usually let my baby eat naked.. less of a mess to clean up..but when i do have a mess thats what i use. its gotten carrots out..everything.
or try a color safe bleach like colorox 2. or if one white treat the stain with colorox ultimate care bleach.
try to treat the stain as soon as possible too.
Use Dreft stain remover and pretreatment. It's made by Dreft so it's safe to use on your baby's clothes.
My son was a messy eater and drooled a lot when he was a baby. (A long time ago) Everything he had was stained around the neck area. We found that just keeping bibs on him all the time was our best bet. We ended up with about a hundred of them and he used several a day. She will eventually grow out of it.
oxi magic works great
All my kids are slobs..lol! I just stopped buying light coloured clothes!
my advice would be to soak sraight away in a stain remover then wash on a heavy soil setting my daugter and freind son used to get filthy i only really had to do that and it came out now i got crayons and my make up and NAIL POLISH to try and get out coz shes a little madam food should come out wif a good soak and wash if u dont let it dry in to the clothes maybe undress her if shes eating something messy i used to do that cos my daughter loves spagetti bolognase then u only got to get her clean
if you've tried vanish and that hasn't worked then i suggest putting all the stained clothes and a few sterilising tablets in the machine with no soap powder. it worked for me on spaghetti stains.
use persil washing powder fizzy action.....great stuff
