No. My friend and I had very similar pregnancy's. We carried the baby's the same, and I had a girl an she had a boy. There's the myth about the hearbeat. A fast heartbeat is supposdely a girl, and a slower one is a boy. That myth held true for the two of us. My daughter's heartbeat was always around 160, and her son's heartbeat was always around 145.
no not particularly but there is a saying that when a women picks up alot of weight in her bum, she is said to be having a boy.

no i dont think so!..when i was carrying my first which was 13 years ago now i was so sure i was having a girl, then when i gave birth it was a boy.i was so shocked , i then went on to have another 2 boys and each pregnancy was so different to the otheres!

There is the drain-o in the urine test, the needle on a string over your belly or palm, the chinese lunar calendar and there is a quiz you can take, too. They're not 100%, but they're fun. nobody can tell what sex your having unless you have your 5 month scan.I've had 2 girls the 1st one i just knew i was having girl people said your weights all round you(meaning its a girl)then found out i was right the second 1(which is 3 months now)i was adamant it was a boy everyone was saying things like your tummies all front and was shocked when it came out a girl.
nope! but when you take X-rays at 5th month you will almost be able to see weather it has a penis or vagina. BUt if you look to early you will see the same thing weather its a girl or boy. When a baby its in the womb it develops gonads. They can either transform into balls of ovaries.

When a womens bump is 'all up front' ( ie,if you view her from behind & you can't tell she's pregnant) then its a boy. As opposed to a womans bump being more spread out around the waist (ie,when the waist is thickened) then its a girl.
I must admit that this 'old wives tale' seems to have some truth behind it,as i have successfully predicted all of my friends babies sex using this guide!
Apparently a woman suffers more with morning sickness when carrying a girl (something to do with female hormones clashing with the mothers is the theory behind this) but i suffered much worse with my 2 boys than i did with my daughter,as did my own mother.
Its fun to try & guess but personally i found out with each of mine at my scans..too impatient!

good god NO if there was i wouldnt have my 2 girls lol, i would have wanted them to be boys, my son was a diamond when he was younger (a teenager now) and my 2 daughters were a nightmare and still are at times lol, girls are worse than boys, they need much more attention.
i have had three girls and one boy with the girls i allways seemed to spread more instead of the bump at the front as with my son more morning sickness as well with girls
