I had an unfortunate turn of events when my coil was fitted-- apart from immense pain when inserted it did affect my cycle- i didn't know where i was but had it removed 2 weeks after..

As for the menopause- they should give u a blood test to check that- as for trying to concieve don't take any form of comtraceptive take a bloodtest to check when u think u may be ovulating(this is a good test it will tell u if u oviulate or not) on the very day you should be and the best advice i can give is a good diet, get your hubby to be to have a sperm count and Relax!
i think you're a bit young for the menopause. Having the coil removed does upset your periods. I've had the copper coil in and out for years and it's always upsetting my periods. It'll settle down shortly. Good luck!
Just be patient. If you don't become pregnant in 6-8 months consult with a fertility specialist. It is a known fact that becoming pregnant after 35 gets a little more difficult, but just wait first. A doctor will tell you if a woman doesn't become pregnant after 6-8 months something could be wrong, but it could also be your mate. Everyone always thinks its the woman. It could be your man.
Try to be more patient, it takes healthy couple up to a year sometimes more to conceive
