Hi all.I had my period on the sixth of Sep. and it is now the 27th. I had unprotected sex(which is fine cuz my husband and I have a 7 month old baby girl, we would love another, but were going to wait til december to start trying) anyway, unprotected sex on sunday, and I was wondering if I could get pregnant(I don't know when ovulation occurs) can someone tell me the chances of getting pregnant. Sorry.just eager (=

It probably depends on how long your cycles usually are. The rough standard is"
28 days = ovulating on day 14
30 days = ovulating on day 16
32 days = ovulating on day 18
and so on.
You start counting the 'days' from the first day of your last menstrual period. You say you started on the 6th of September so today, for example, is day 21 of your cycle. If you ovulated on the 18th day, (Sunday) then the chances are as good as they could get for possible pregnancy. However, do you normally have your periods 32 days apart regularly?
You should expect to get your period 14 days after your predicted ovulation date if the egg is not fertilized.
Best of luck!
Yes. there is allways a chance!
no idea
there is always a chance. typically, your prime chances for getting pregnant are shortly after your period. go to babyzone.com, you can set up a personal calender, and on your calender they tell you when you are ovulating. good luck!
There is always a chance.you just have to wait it out until your period is due. Duh.
That should be right around the ovulation period because you experience it about every 14 days for 2 days
i think the best chance is shortly after ur period. but the sperms can survive up to 24 hours in you body sooo..
you are more fertile right before and after your period, i am not exactly sure how close but, there is always a chance.
If you go to your doctor he/she might give you these ovulation test you can take at home..or you can buy it at a drug store..
GOOD LUCK!!
you know what? my hubby only had to lok at me and along came another one...of course there is a chance, always is with unprotected sex, regardless of cycle etc; keep fingers crossed for you !
Babycenter.com. They have tools on there and to help you determine your fertile days and due date when you do become pg. Try it out! I love it!
well if he shot off inside you than ya there might be a possibility of you getting pregnant just go to the Dr and have them do a test cause there's are more accurate
if you had your period on the 6th of septemeber and you had sex on the 27th, my guess is that you probably wont be pregnant. ovulation usually occurs anywhere from 7-11 days from the end of your cycle. There is always a chance with unprotected sex, but my guess is that you most likely are not pregnant.
Everytime on the wildside of Montana.
of course, there are just some times that have better chances than others, good luck!
That's Day 18 of your cycle. Most women ovulate 12-16 days *before* their period and are most fertile in the days leading up to ovulation because the egg is only viable for about 24 hours. If your cycles tend to be on the longer side, you could still be fertile on Day 18, but there's also a good chance that you were past your fertile window for the month.
There is always a chance. The time that you are the most fertil is right after you have you period. Hope you like the results when you find out if you are or not.
Hi Lisa. No you're not pregnant unless your periods are spaced out over 40 days.
to work out when you ovulate (because each person is different, especially after having a baby). You need to start to mark your calender when your period starts. When you have had two periods, you'll know your own menstrual cycle, although this may vary from month to month sometimes.
You count the first day of your period as day one and count to the next day you started on. Normally this is around 28days and ovulation normally occurs in the middle. Therefore, you are more likely to fall pregnant around days 13-16ish. If you don't want to become pregnant you're more careful around this time. However, for you however many days your cycle is halve it and your ovulation will occur around both ends of that day in the month. This may take a few months to regulate after having a baby, but i have helped people become pregnant before when having dificulty.
I got pregnant twice when breatfeeding and after baby was only 4mths, and my cycle at that time was around 38days. So it doesn't matter how long your monthly cycle is just remember to halve and then either avoid this time or GO FOR IT!
Good luck!

ovulation occurs usually 6 to 13 days after the start of your period. the first week and a few days after your period, and the last week and a few days before your period are the most likely times to get pregnant. Good luck hope this helps.
Ovulation is the moment during a woman's menstrual cycle when the ovarian follicle releases the egg. The time of peak fertility. Figure out when your next period is due to begin and count back 12 to 16 days. This will give you a range of days when you will probably be ovulating (for women with a 28-day cycle, the 14th day is often the one). To use this method, you must know how long your cycle usually lasts. The best way to determine your most fertile time, though, is to pay attention to your body and learn to spot the signs that ovulation is imminent. The websites below should be able to help you calculate if your unsure. Hope this helps.
